Fairfield Inn & Suites Princeton

I can't understand why this hotel is getting such high reviews. This hotel is dated and needs to be renovated and better cared for. We only stayed for one night (thank goodness) and so we don't know if they were actually did anything about the ants in our room or the clogged tub. When I told them upon checkout that we had ants, she said, "you know, someone else told us the same thing, I guess we are going to have to spray." No apology, no true concern. I will not be staying at another Fairfield.

I booked this hotel based on reviews & booked through a third party travel website. It was more expensive but I was hoping for a great experience.The hotel was slightly beat up inside and the furniture was somewhat scuffed. I didn’t care about that but I did care about the green slime in large puddles around and in the pool. They cleaned it when we pointed it out. After that I wanted to cancel our stay for the next weekend because I had booked it on our trip back. The manager said we booked through a third party site so there is nothing she can do. More helpful would be have been to say we should contact the third party website and she would work with them for a satisfactory resolution. She did not. Just said nothing she could do. Also there are signs in the elevator encouraging high reviews and to contact them to resolve any issues. Bottom line, if you think paying extra will get you a better stay, think again.
