The hotel elevator broke down. The front desk customer service helped me change the room on the first floor. However, it was still being repaired the next morning. Guests staying on the second and third floors had to take the stairs. I hope they don't have too heavy luggage.

I am a self-driving tour, living in Merced is far from Yosemite National Park, but cheap. This hotel is a mid-end hotel chain of all American chains with guaranteed quality. I have lived many times and will choose BW once I go to an unfamiliar city.
