The smallest room I have ever stayed in among all European hotels. There isn't even a hot water kettle. Extra charge for parking which should be waived considering there is no other facility that's available for guests, including a pool that's not functioning. Overall a very basic hotel not deserving of its asking price.

Wonderful hotel, extremely helpful staff in reception and Thomas. Generous size room, beautiful linen, comfaortable bed, quiet location and wonderful pool. No restaurant or cafes close, 15 mins walk but one is being devloped on site. Close to beach. Highly recommend to all.

El hotel es bonito y está relativamente bien ubicado. Pero es un hotel sin ningún tipo de gestión, en el cual trabajan aficionados, y está muy lejos de ser un hotel de 5 estrellas. El precio es altisimo para lo que es el hotel. Habitaciones mal mantenidas y sin servicio técnico, no hay room service en la piscina y no hay absolutamente ninguna atención ni servicio de ningun tipo en la zona de pisicna. Las toallas sucias y tiradas se quedan alli todo el dia y a nadie le importa. El desayuno es miserable con zumo de naranja de bote de Carrefour, pasteleria pésima de supermercado, queso racionado, huevos secos y poco mas. No reponen comida y hay que estar mendigando cada vez para que pongan algo en el buffet, el cual es mezquino a mas no poder. Si se estropea algo en la habitación o necesitas que limpien olvidate porque no lo harán. Y las personas de recepción no pueden hacer nada porque no saben hacer nada, o simplemente te dicen que son los dueños, que tienen así el hotel y ellos no pueden hacer nada. Cualquier hotel de 3 estrellas es mejor opción que este hotel, que además está a precios de hotel lujo. Lo unico bueno los 2 chicos que se encargan de aparcar los coches y asistir en todo lo que pueden, así como un señor que está en el turno de noche. Ellos tienen actitud excelente y tratan de ayudar en todo lo que pueden. Todo el resto un desastre.

We had a pleasant stay here at Villa Genesis although would say there are a few rooms for improvement, especially for a five star hotel. We had a few issues with our room whilst staying, including a very leaky shower (everytime it was on, it would spill out into the floor) and whilst the hotel did move us to another room, it seems all showers have been built this way as that didn't improve and happened in the new room. For a five star hotel, I was a bit shocked that in a hot country they don't provide you with new water everyday (but instead you need to go downstairs and charge you for a tiny bottle). The pool are was very lovely although the jacuzzi part wasn't working whilst we stayed there. The aircon is also controlled centrally so you have to call down to reception to get this changed rather than being able to do it yourself, and in the new room we couldn't ever get it lower than 23 degrees (which considering it was 33 degrees when we stayed there we wanted it a bit cooler!) Otherwise very easy walkable to the town centre in about 15 mins. Lots around the area, including beaches, some lovely restaurants and supermarkets (to stock up on some water!)

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The rooms are newly decorated and immaculately clean, featuring lovely grey and blue tones. I stayed in room 201, which had a beautiful garden and sea view. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom amenities were excellent. Although I didn't have breakfast, my friends did and they mentioned it was plentiful and very fresh. The staff were very friendly without being overbearing. The pool is gorgeous and doesn't get too busy. The hotel provides towels for the pool, and there are flip-flops in the room for use at the pool or the beach. The location is great, with the old town about a 15-minute walk away. The walk is lovely, with the ocean on one side and a big promenade on the other. Menton is a charming town, bustling during the day with a great market area to explore. At night, it's pretty quiet, so don't expect wild nightlife, but we still had a great time with some drinks and lovely food. I'm really glad we stayed here; it was a fantastic place for a weekend getaway with friends. Thank you!

Villa Genesis is a fabulous hotel. Our room was very comfortable, well furnished and spotlessly clean. The variety, presentation and taste of the food at breakfast could not be bettered. All the staff were exceptionally helpful and a pleasure to deal with. This was our second visit and we hope to return.
