Strike 1. Upon arriving there was alot of debris (rocks or little pebbles) at the threshold of the room. I recall thinking “this isn’t a good sign”! Strike 2. Upon opening the door I learned I was right. The ottoman was literally positioned in the middle of the walkway to enter the room. We commented “that’s odd”. It’s like someone didn’t finish cleaning the room is what we surmised. It was late so we just went to bed after flying all day. Strike 3. Only to find ourselves jarred awake by the alarm clock that wasn’t reset. Strike 4. Can’t get back to sleep so I take a shower only to find the shower gel completely empty. I mean not a drop had been refilled. Strike 5. So I was forced to just use face soap and saw long strands of hair thst clearly wasn’t ours on the vanity and strike 6 If that wasn’t gross enough found the same hair type in the shower. And checkout isn’t until 11 yet the maid entered our room at 10 and her response “just checking if you had checked out”. What kind of ghetto crap is that? I think it’s a ploy she used to rush people to checkout. So that was strike 7. Strike 8. I forgot my slippers at home. Walked to the nightstand at the double bed nearest the door to find something sticky under my feet. So the carpet had not been cleaned in a while. And lastly the front desk agent Denetra didn’t allow me to use a different credit card upon checkout. So that was Strike 9!. So suffice it to say I was not at all pleased and was outright disgusted by the lack of care that was taken with room 513. I won’t return here. And I will let others know to not visit this hotel because it’s clear the rooms aren’t cleaned to a standard or a checklist. And we know this has to be correct else there wouldn’t have been so many obvious issues pointing to support the argument that maybe our room wasn’t cleaned at all and maybe the bed was just made up from the last guests in the room. What a dirty sick thought to even be forced to think.
