Visited family nearby, just needed a bed for the night. This Premier Inn did the job nicely. Friendly welcome, efficient check-in, and a quiet room that was super-clean and in great condition. The wifi was abysmal, dropping out every minute or two on both phone and laptop. I paid for Ultimate in case it was any better, only to find that it was as utterly unusable as the free offering. Staff told me that they're aware, and there aren't enough hotspots. Might have been nice to be told at check-in rather than paying for nothing. I can't be bothered dealing with a refund, but it's still annoying, especially as it's a third-party service and they can't just give me a fiver out of the till. Breakfast is delicious and cooked to order, but the kitchen works to geological timescales, even with only one customer. I've experienced this several times at this particular Premier Inn. Fine if you want a relaxed start to the day, but if you're in a hurry to get to a meeting or something, this could be a real problem.

Warm welcome, bed for the night. Clean and in a great location if visiting Melton. Negatives, breakfast was greasy and scrambled eggs were an off shade of green. A young employee was very unprofessional approaching an issue. She created a problem where there was not one, only to be made worse by her lack of diplomacy and customer skills.
