el mismo día de nuestra llegada el día 22.08.2025, en la piscina infantil, nuestra hija de 3 años de edad, accedía al tobogán con forma de dragón, subiendo por la escalera y posterior acceso, resbalaba y se iba lesionando la piel durante toda la tarde. Que cuando fuimos a duchar a la niña, no fue posible, ya que la niña se quejaba del dolor en ambos pies, sufriendo 21 pequeñas laceraciones en planta y dorso de los mismos. Como consecuencia de las heridas tuvimos que suministrarle apiretal y cristalmina, no pudiendo apoyar los pies en el suelo, por lo tenía que ser trasladada en brazos todo el tiempo, no pudiendo ni caminar ni correr, nada, y el disfrute en la estancia vacacional, debido todo ello al material resbaladizo y que raspaba piel del acceso del tobogán infantil. El hotel se lavó las manos diciendo que no había otras quejas, cuando un día después de Los hechos una niña resbaló y se rompio el labio y fue atendida por socorristas. No cuidan al cliente y no responden de los daños a una niña de 3 años.

Overall a nice hotel, but really missing the extras. This is our second Rui hotel so we had high expectations. The food- you will not go hungry, but also I don't think it's the best food we've had. The steak house was great, the others pretty average. The staff were hit and miss some were quite rude and unfriendly. The grounds and pool areas are lovely. The alcohol is good, sports bar have most events on not all but there is a sports bar a 10 min walk away. We got engaged on the first day we were here and informed the hotel, they made absolutely no effort to make anything special for us. This was really disappointing. There were so many ants in our room, they even ventured into our kettle which also never worked the whole stay and had been reported multiple times.

Chose this hotel after looking at many others riu’s in the Canary Islands and what a wonderful choice this hotel is clean beyond belief spotless like new all I can say is wow They say the Spanish hate the English I’m English and black and the seem to like me so there’s another tick for the hotel the staff are so polite and friendly this is one a the best riu’s I’ve stayed at and I have a gold membership card if not it is the best so another tick The restaurants are very nice I’ve been to better riu restaurants around the world but I’m not gonna complain the hotels to nice to moan about anything the gardens are amazing and clean daytime entertainment has been great at infinity pool bar My rooms clean everyday drinks are topped up in fridge coffee shop great cakes and coffee sports bar 24 hours great I can’t think of anything to complain about I’m still hear 3 more days but so far so good I stay in room 2118 wonderful view of sea and garden well done riu Gran Canaria 10/10

Pluspunten Vriendelijk personeel Schoonmaak kamers en terrein Uitgebreid ontbijt in dunas en Italiaanse restaurant Mooi uitzicht op de zee Geen bedje reserveren nodig aan het zwembad tenzij je met meer dan 4 samen wil liggen maar dan nog plaats genoeg als je direct na ontbijt handdoek legt Minpunten Kamers gehorig Geen ballen en luchtbedden in meeste zwembaden Avond shows niet zo goed behalve Afrikaanse acrobaten. ABBA was echt slecht Dunas restaurant vaak hetzelfde Atlantico lunch beperktere keuze als in dunas. Diner is grill met enkel seafood als voorgerecht (geen liefhebber hiervan) Pépé snackbar altijd hetzelfde hamburgers frieten broodjes kaas ham salami. Geen ijsjes of vers fruit. Voor lunch altijd terug moeten aankleden om naar dunas of Atlantica restaurant te gaan want hou meer van een gezondere optie Voor de prijs die ik betaalde had ik meer verwacht.

Spent a week with the family including 6 month old baby, had 3 rooms, 2 overlooking the gardens, all decent size with plenty of storage space, large bathroom and very clean, TV with 5 English channels, comfy bed. Excellent food options in all the restaurants, all worth trying and easy to book on the RIU app. Coffee bar great for a morning or afternoon pit stop with cake, and the sports bar great for watching live sports and playing pool/bar football. Pools good but had to get down early to reserve favourite sunbed spots (830am). Lots of activities around the pool including foam party. Friday night is either white or neon party and what an incredible and fun night this is, congratulations to the hotel for putting on such a great night. Also a no frills spa but exceptional massages (shout out to Maria who gave a superb massage). Also, great promenade walk to shops and beach 10 mins away. All in all a wonderful week helped by clear blue skies and little wind and would return.

Our third visit to this hotel … which in itself speaks volumes! We return here, year upon year, because the rooms, the facilities and the food are excellent and consistent quality. The big factor me is that it also feels very safe for my 8 year old. Staff are always pleasant, polite and efficient. Our extra thanks this year to Ray in the entertainment team who made a really great effort with my little one. Our thanks as always to Kirsten and Gemma who we have seen for the third year in the row. The team always work so hard to deliver a great entertainment programme. There were extra things on the programme this year that we enjoyed - foam party and afternoon shows for the children such as the superhero circus! We will be back next year!

The hotel generally is very good. Good food, great location and an amazing entertainment team. However, having stayed at many Riu Hotels (Diamond Riu Class Member) it is the little things that make the difference between a good hotel and a great hotel. Despite speaking to reception on two occasions about a birthday in our party, this was forgotten about. Having spoken to reception a third time a bottle was rushed up the room last minute after 5pm with no cooler, ice, etc and whilst this was appreciated the sentiment is just not the same especially when the recipient is sat in the room at the time of it’s arrival. In addition we have never stayed anywhere that has denied us a 6pm check out when we have a late flight home. Despite both adults being RIu class members we were told 2pm was the latest time available. We even offered to move rooms but again told no. It’s little details that make all the difference and remembered when considering whether to return. All in all a good holiday but a bit disappointed with the issues raised above.

Increíble la amabilidad de todo el personal del hotel. Destaco muchísimo el cariño y atención de toni (recepción), en restaurante a ramona, alessio, pepe y especial mención a kevin. El hotel es un 10 gracias a ellos.
