Great service at the reception and in the restaurant at breakfast, but the spa was a bit disappointing. There was no water placed out to hydrate after sauna for example, and they sent us to buy from the restaurant. The staff in the spa, well, not all of them were very kind. And the arrangement of the spa is strange. For the sauna we had to go one floor down, making wet everything and come back if we wanted to swim again. Otherwise everything was great.

We rented a sands tower 2p. suite and it was amazing. We decide on the suite going by the photos and all-in-all reasonable price about double a standard room and it was worth every penny, this is simply the most amazing suite we've ever been in. A very spacious apartment, very large in size, very modern, super clean, frontal sea view terrace, full kitchen, amazing bathroom.. I could go on and on. I also love the details: Nespresso machine and plenty of coffee options, lots of USB charging sockets, 3 large TVs that all allow casting from my phone, good WiFi signal, just a step down from the beach and located in the same building as the restaurants, electric blinds and blackening, no noise from other apartments ... after 100+ reviews this is now the new top of the line - best place we have ever stayed at! To close out, the staff was all very friendly and it seems in low season parking is free. There are great walks straight from the hotel also. We'll surely be back.

Gym 4/5 - with smith machine, cables and dumbbells can do a pretty good workout. Sauna 4/5 - free to use, clean, perhaps could be more humid though. Need to pay €5 + €10 deposit for use of bath robes. Breakfast 4/5 - excellent, but could have more local variety. Beach - Mellieha beach is within walking distance

Very nice place with two wonderful pools and a beach specific to those staying there. It is close the the ferry terminal for easy access to the other two islands. Spa was very nice they did a good job on my nails.

Negative points: unheated outdoor swimming pools, closed main restaurant terrace, the room was not very hot and heating was not working at all. The principle of restaurants is not too bad but you must book, they are not every evening open and, above all, food remains basic and the dishes are very similar. There is only the main restaurant open at noon and is not very varied.

Breakfast has many varieties, and you can also buffet for 26 Euros in the evening. Many buses can go anywhere. The hotel is close to the ferry to gozo, 10 minutes walk, few minutes by bus. The hotel has indoor and outdoor swimming pools (see Figure 6). The indoors are not very good, and there are spas that are not good. There are no shopping malls around the hotel, so take a bus to mehddina, where there is a cathedral. There are no restaurants in the surroundings, and only hotels can solve it at night. There are resident singers and English songs on the second floor at night (I feel like a four-star hotel in Shanghai in the 1990s). Older couples and foreigners dance and entertain themselves. Many elderly people. There is also an activity room on the second floor, with billiards and table tennis.

Brilliant.i have been here 3 times in the last 4 months and will keep on booking a stay here. The breakfast is brilliant and the hotel facilities are excellent.
