The hotel itself is a historical building and is well-known locally. Every detail and corner of the hotel is full of historical elegance.
The room itself is not big, but it has everything. The welcome gift prepared is also very heart-warming, and the mini bar is free in the first round. Another good comment is that it comes with a multi-country conversion plug, so there is no need to use another conversion plug. It also has an electric kettle!
The service is even better. The staff are really nice!
The location of the hotel is very good, less than an 8-minute walk from the train station and right next to Lake Lucerne. It is super convenient to go to every attraction!
Breakfast is at the internet celebrity restaurant Juliette, which is divided into a buffet area (some fruits/breads/cold food) and a la carte hot food. I highly recommend the Eggwhite omettle (you can add side dishes, I chose salmon + n kinds of vegetables), which I have eaten recently. The most delicious one!

Location is great for city shopping. Restaurant is nice and food quality is high. Stayed in a very small room without lake view. People at next building were doing gym and able to look clearly the room without too much privacy. Very noise on traffic due to proximity to the main road if you open windows for fresh air. The bathtub plug is too old and hurt my finger with loose metal chips come off. Recommend to stay only for lake view room during non-peak season. Otherwise, not very cost efficient except you get a big pocket.

Stayed in the Lucerne version of the Grand Budapest Hotel!
It was like traveling through time and staying in the Museum of Life Hotel
The service was very good, and a guy at the front desk looked like Gustav!

Staying by Lake Lucerne, the scenery is pleasant. Every day you can look out the window (the hotel actually provided a high-powered telescope) to the snow-capped mountains and lakes. The room is also suitable and spacious. It is not far from the train station and various attractions. Chocolates are given every night, but the price is really expensive 😄. Everything is very satisfactory.
