Nous étions des clients habituels de cet hôtel et contents jusqu'à présent d'y séjourner, mais cette année l'expérience fut très décevante. Bien que nous ayions réservé, directement à l'hôtel, et payé avec 7 semaines d'avance une chambre en rez-de-chaussée sur jardin, on nous a attribué une chambre à l'étage, encore non complètement aménagée : pas de bureau, pas de frigo, une seule table de nuit, pas de lampe de chevet, une seule chaise pour 2 (!!) sur la terrasse, pas de bouilloire ni de cafetière... Nous avons dû mettre nos affaires (valises, sacs, ordinateurs, smartphone, livres..) par terre !! La chambre était à 35 degrés quand nous sommes arrivés, la climatisation étant arrêtée. Le petit déjeuner était frugal avec uniquement des produits industriels : pas de pain frais, croissant, gâteaux alors que boulangerie et pâtisserie sont à quelques centaines de mètres. Idem pour les fruits avec pommes et bananes alors que le marché local voisin regorge de fruits de saison (cerises. fraises. pêches, abricots...). Les jeunes personnes à l'accueil, le soir et le matin, étaient extrêmement gentilles et compatissantes mais sans aucun moyen d'action. C'est donc la gestion qui est déplorable. Dommage car nous aimions bien cette halte. A déconseiller fortement tant que la gestion de sera pas revue car le rapport qualité/prix est dans ces conditions très bas.

Until about 2016 Megara had no hotel, so this newly built, modern hotel on the edge of town is very welcome. Our room was of a reasonable size, and the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was adequate. There was ample parking space. The staff were exceptionally friendly, even by Greek standards. There were several minor points which, when taken together, mean I can't give five stars:. 1. Lighting in the bathroom was inadquate for anyone trying to put their makeup on properly. 2. There was not a single glass (or cup or similar) for drinking in the bedroom. If you are thirsty, and need some water, you will have to cup your hands and drink that way. 3. The plug in the sink uses a ridiculous, non intuitive system if you want to actually drain the sink. You must put your hand into the water and then press DOWN on the sink to lift the plug up. It took me a while to figure that one out - and I worked for years as a Chartered Engineer. A hotel that choose to us a silly and unfamiliar system should at least put up a notice telling guests how to use it. 4. It was not possible to escape the canned music in the public areas, not even at breakfast time. Surely we can be spared that kind of assault on our senses at least first thing in the morning.

This is a newer place very well done. They have a small buffet breakfast and a small bar. The man that checked us in was very polite and helpful. He was upfront and told us that there was no restaurant in the Hotel or anything nearby. He offered to give us some suggestions for some good restaurants that were five minutes away. He also offered to help us order food in if we chose. The restaurants he suggested were very good. Would stay here again.

The best part of the hotel was Kimon, who checked us in at 8:30 at night after more than 24 hours of travel. We were hungry and he suggested take out which he ordered for us and served us on the outside patio with plates and wine glasses. He went above and beyond what you would expect. Kimon was awesome! We only stayed 1 night on our way to Lefkada.

Cette hôtel a été une étape très sympathique, très informative sur notre route vers le Péloponnèse. Accueil exceptionnel !Nous avons sollicité la personne de l’accueil qui nous a renseigné de bien des façons. La chambre était superbe, nous avons extrêmement bien dormi dans cette hôtel situé à 2 km à peine de Pachi un endroit très pittoresque, très touristique avec de nombreux restaurants qui donnent sur la mer. Nous recommandons fortement cette adresse.

Excellent hôtel! Je vous le recommande vivement ! Complexe construit récemment avec des finitions de qualité ! Un personnel souriant et totalement anglophone ! Petit déjeuner sympa! Parking ! Facile d'accès depuis l'autoroute Chambres très spacieuses et confortables !
