Had initially stopped in Wooster, Ohio, linemen in town due to storm damage so we continued & unfortunately stopped in Medina on our way to NY. The Red Roof looked sketchy, potholes in parking lot & people hanging out in the back. Went to Motel 6, we were tired & just wanted someplace decent, should have kept driving. Girl at desk was nice. Took our things to the 3rd floor. As soon as we got off elevator we were hit by a strong cigarette smell, like in every room people were chain smoking. Couldn't believe there was an ashtray in our room. Haven't seen one of those in forever 😕 The next morning we were hesitant to leave the room, we could hear dogs barking. They were in a room down the hall. We were glad to leave. Our clothes smelled like smoke. Unless you're a smoker or traveling with an animal, I wouldn't recommend staying here
