Disappointing Experience at Maden Hotel *Rating:* 1/5 I'm extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Maden Hotel. The hotel's photos on (link unavailable) and other online platforms are misleading, as the actual rooms and service fell far short of expectations. Upon check-in, we were given a tiny room for three people, which was unacceptable. After requesting a change, we were upgraded to a larger room, but the air conditioning wasn't working. This was a major issue, especially considering the importance of a comfortable stay. The service at the hotel was also subpar. It's clear that the hotel needs to improve its maintenance, housekeeping, and customer service standards. Overall, my experience at Maden Hotel was pathetic. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would advise others to look elsewhere for a more comfortable and reliable stay. *Specific Issues:* - Misleading photos on booking platforms - Small room initially assigned - Non-functional air conditioning in the second room - Poor service *Advice:* Look elsewhere for a better hotel experience.

Booked 7 rooms. via their agents Khalid Tour. Did not get any rooms till 6pm due to the hotel being "busy". When we got the room, none of the rooms had any towels in them. We were told they are all in the wash. Two rooms were given to us with long strands of hair on the pillowcases. When we bought that to the attention of Jaweed of Khalid Tour we were told that he will get the housekeeping to go again in the room. I was advised that the room was probably not cleaned well, as we were rushing them to get our room (at 6pm!) Having booked a suite a was given a disabled room and was told that this was the suite. When I spoke to reception about the room they confirmed that the room was actually not a suite and there was non available for that evening. I am told that the hotel and their agent will try and sort things out for us tomorrow. No conversation about reimbursement for the suite that I never got. Sadly, the actions above are criminal. Staff could not be more unprofessional and rude!

Hotel cancelled booking without Informing us so I arrived with my elderly parents and was told my booking number doesn't exist. Had to take luggage and try the other hotel maden taiba,which was a short walk away however they were much more helpful and spent time with me giving us space to explain it was definitely maden hotel who were not forthcoming. Returned to the hotel only to find an arrogant desk staff telling me no your booking doesn't exist , go, go. Called travel agent to find out they cancelled a few bookings without telling anyone. Heard others in reception shouting that they were being moved out as well from their bookings. Rude staff, rude attitude , lying hotel workers, leaving us stranded

This hotel is brilliant in terms of its location and proximity to the Prophet’s pbuh mosque. The food is delicious and staff are very helpful. The reason I’m giving this a terrible rating is that there is construction work outside it and the noise is very loud that the government of Medina has granted 24 hour permission to undertake the work. That means there is constant cement mixers and banging throughout the entire night disturbing the sleep of pilgrims and residents alike. This would not be permitted in any western nation and goes against the grain of MBS and his American consultants vision 2030- I’m actually appalled that permission has been granted for this very appalling build.
