Flamingo Hotel

This place is a joke. Their is meth heads everywhere and their dealer must live there cause they are In and out a certain suite. Also they are doin renovations and the staff that are doing those told my boyfriend the place is infested with with rodents . It's dirty and run down and he slept on to of the bed since he met a lady outside that lives in town and told him they had bedbugs. When he he first arrived the lady was nice enough to upgrade his room for free but when he sent me a video of the room it looked old and run down and kinda hokey pokey room. He wanted to have a bath but the tub was soooo dirty n full of hair he had to wash it with a towel. I paid for the room over internet and they still made him put a $200 Deposit down. Which I don't understand why. So when he checked out they only gave him $165 outta his deposit and said he owed $35 for dirty towels. Never in my life have unheard about this charge and I'm sure anyone who is reading this hasn't eiher. After he argued with the girl and I called there and complained too the price went up to $65.00. After the argument back n forth theyvwent back to the initial $35 charge my bf said I want the towels then snd they would t give him ti him and all of a sudden they gave him his $200 deposit in full. Maybe threating to call the hotel, paper and business bureau it finally made them stop charging him. We wonder if the $200 deposit thing is a way of scamming peoples mines once they have it? DONT STAY HERE! BUYER BEWARE!!!!

This place is nothing like it is advertised. It is dirty inside and outside and amenities like the pool is out of service. Restaurant area is quite gross and breakfast food cold and coffee is poor. Stayed 3 nights and could only stomach the breakfast and coffee for one morning only!

About the only good thing with staying in this hotel: at least the room door locked. Bad things: coffee cups and maker but no coffee or tea; room was dingy and not enough lighting; ceiling fan extremely dirty; no housekeeping service appeared, not even to pop in and empty our garbage can after three days; front desk is attentive to your face but doesn't follow through with requests; breakfast was water, kids cereal, frozen muffins, scrambled eggs, and pork sausages sitting in grease, no coffee or juice at all. Derelict car parked in lot was getting towed away while we were checking out, lots of sketchy people around who look and dress like they're down on their luck. Swimming pool was very dirty, hot tub water was murky. Cleanliness overall highly questionable. Wish I'd never booked here, and won't again.

Great experience over 7 months! The price was extremely fair for a long term stay. Staff was warm and friendly and very accomodating. They were very respectful to financial buget. The desk was always on duty and available. It will be a great memory for my travels!!

Staff was very helpful, we needed to be on the main floor and they wewe very cooperative in moving us. The motel was under renovation and it is spring there so the winter and fall debris was still there . Otherwise everything was good.
