we had booked 4 rooms, but they cancelled our rooms. i will never book rooms with comfort inn again. front desk was so rude and didn't help us...............................................................................................................................

We booked 12 Rooms at this hotel, and they canceled our reservations Because they were overbooked. it was so hard to go find the hotels with my family at night. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.................................

OLD Carpets/Furniture....signs of wear & tear everywhere. But CLEAN. And Bed was NICE. Breakfast OK. Parking has GOOD Nite lighting. ONE Nite is OK here. If staying longer in Medford, find another more pleasant hotel. This hotel should NOT be listed as a Comfort Inn---as the quality is subpar. I wasted $100/Nite on this place!

Go HERE... not there! Took the kiddo to SOU for college. Had a terrible experience at the Comfort Inn Ashland. Had an AMAZING experience at Comfort Inn South. Three cheers for Comfort Inn Medford South! Here are the great things about Medford South. 1. Medford was CLEAN. 2. Professional staff. They wanted to be there and it showed. This is a business that takes pride in their facility. 3. Really lovely breakfast (above and beyond the stock fare with dedicated staff to keep the breakfast room tidy). There were more food choices too. 4. Super organized. 5. The rooms were safe (there were broken locks at the Medford, so consumer safety was real). The rooms were all finished and had no deferred maintenance issues. 6. South Medford is in walking distance of most major stores. 7. The pool area is open and the water is clear. 8. The cookies at night were a bonus, but the feeling that you want to be at this facility is beyond lovely. Would absolutely recommend.

The people working there are wonderful and knowledgeable. With full breakfast, yes the waffle kind and i swear i saw Drake the rapper there. I asked him if he was and he was with his family and said no his name was rishon. Not sure if that's his real name not stage or rapping name. So neat.

As the title says, this was the best hotel we said in during our 19 day, 4200 mile road trip. The staff was attentive, pleasant, and efficient. After some places we stayed, it was so nice to find a clean, well made room.

This hotel is well-located, with an easy off, easy on I-5 - which was what our main criteria was. It has a soft bed, if you prefer that type. This is a 3-story hotel, and the third floor had some people above us causing a lot of walking to be heard below. The toilet was way too low, however. It did have a grab bar outside the shower, which I used to help me with that low, low toilet. The sinks were of common height. The check-in staff was excellent. There was an odor of candles near the desk. This is a problem for the 20% of the population that have problems with scents. The room had a table and chairs which was nice for the breakfast the next morning, although some people chose to stay in the breakfast room. Being elderly, we chose not to do that.

The gardens behind this hotel are soooo sweet, with fountains and art installations and lovely Lithia Creek. What a path to walk to town on. A little more deep cleaning would be good, but generally clean and well appointed. Really good vibe here. Exercise room needs some yoga mats. Housekeeper was awesome.

The room was very clean, roomy and had everything they promised. You would not be able to soak in the tub, but that's not a big thing. My main complaint was the drapes. Due to the placement of the heater, the drapes didn't close completely, and since we faced the parking lot, the lights were shining directly into the room. There were shears in place, but they didn't block the light, and the room darking drapes were for decoration only and didn't close.
