This is hotel is not really vacation friendly. Water goes away while we were staying there, there’s not many breakfast options to choose from. They charge for everythinggg.

Nos gustó mucho el vecindario y los alrededores. El desayuno estaba sabroso y en formato buffet. La atención fue muy buena. No nos gustó que nos dijeron que teníamos una cama queen aunque esta era de tamaño doble, vimos que había otras habitaciones con camas que sí eran tamaño queen.

La propiedad nos pareció muy bonita por fuera se ve súper bien, eso nos gustó mucho. Pero la refrigeradora y el aire acondicionado sonaron feo todos los días y la toallas deberían tener un mejor aspecto.

Be prepared for anyone in this area not to speak much English. These days with translation apps it's not that much of a deal. This area is a very safe area and has some options to dine. However, most attractions in Medellin are a long way from the hotel and require often navigating the heavy traffic so allow a lot of extra time reach any destination. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff friendly. The breakfasts are also good to get you started in the morning.

I booked my stay for over 3 weeks and chose my room type based upon the description and photos. To my surprise I was provided a smaller room that had no windows as shown in the photo and description! After showing the manager the listing with the incorrect information, they said it wasn't their fault and there was nothing they could do. They wouldn't even offer me any sort of discount or room change. After arguing with them several times over the course of a week, they finally switched me to a room with a window to the inside of the building, but not the outside. The room still wasn't as large as the listing photo, but at least I wasn't sealed inside a closed box without any natural light for the remaining two weeks. Some other negatives is that the beds were not very comfortable and the bathrooms didn't have ventilation. This applied to both rooms I stayed in. On a positive note, they were always keeping the common spaces very clean, the decor and style was nice, and the location was great.
