Nido Sky

Beautiful design. Walkable to tons great restaurants and bars. Good size - 700+ sq feet vs hotel rooms of 250 or 300. Private elevator to units. Great views from rooftop pool n jacuzzy. A small gym. You get all this for a price just a bit more than a regular hotel room. The sound from the street does come thru in the living room. The reception said thats because the unit has a kitchen with gas stove and by law they cannot seal the unit with no airflow it has to have ventilation. We liked having a kitchen but probably some people dont need it.

Nido Sky is in the Manilla neighborhood in El Pablado. It is walking distance to many bars and restaurants, as well as the essentials at shops. There is a currency exchange on block over. The hotel is ultra-modern/industrial. The apartment is serviced by an elevator directly to the apartment that is only usable by one tenant at a time. There is a small pool and really hot hot tub on the roof 24/7. The apartment was extremely comfortable and large. The Turkish bath is awesome and view are great. You are in a lively area, so expect some noise. It did not bother us and we slept extremely well. The hotel is one of those that you do not want to leave. Service was great and there is a first floor bar that delivers food to the rooms. We did not use the service because we cooked our meals for the most part, as the Exito is a short Uber ride away. The Staff at the front desk is awesome and bilingual in english/Spanish. Their guests policy is liberal with registration and they welcome your friends and family to visit. Presently, there is construction across the street on a building, but it didn't both us. If you are one of those travelers that expects to reside in a sound proof hermetically sealed bubble, this is not the place for you. If you are a traveler that likes to enjoy a great view, comfortable apartment, and easy access to social events and happenings, this hotel is perfectly located. Having stayed in much more sterile areas of El Pablado, this location and accommodation was perfect for us.
