Nice hotel, quiet location, ideal if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle. Warm welcome and extensive breakfast buffet. Rooms quite large and nice bed. A bit outdated but that's ok for the price. Too bad it stinks of dogs because they are welcome in the hotel. Furthermore, top experience.

Wat een verschrikking en dat hadden we niet verwacht toen we aankwamen. Geweldige locatie, maar hotel zwaar verouderd. 2 keer brandalarm gehad in de nacht, de 2de keer kwam een baas. Die werd stevig aangepakt door de brandweer en vertelde de klanten om maar een mail te sturen, maar daar krijg je totaal geen reactie op. Kamers niet schoon, ontbijt op zich voldoende, maar of het voldeed aan de normale eisen, vraag ik mij af. Op zich veel potentie, maar dan moet er echt veel gaan gebeuren.

s'Nachts 2 maal brandalarm: iedereen naar buiten; beide keren is de brandweer gekomen; niemand van het hotel aanwezig; brandweer vertelde: diezelfde maand al 6 keer eerder geweest i.v.m. brandalarm. Geen enkel excuus of een verontschuldiging de volgende ochtend; integendeel. 2 Gasten zijn middernacht zelfs vertrokken. Daarbij: benauwde kamer aan de straat (raam moest wel open, veel auto's..) en nauwelijks tot geen ventilatie in de badkamer Verantwoordelijke dame liet het afweten.

Ik boekte bij het hotel maar dacht dat dit Mechelen in België was. Pas na de betaling merkte ik dit (betaald zonder optie kosteloze annulatie). Ik kreeg mijn geld niet terug ondanks ik er niet heb verbleven. Dit vind ik absurd, hiervoor de slechte beoordeling.

Wij hadden via social deal een voucher gekocht. Prachtige kamer in mooie omgeving. De kamer was zeer groot en ook een heerlijk bed met heerlijk fris beddengoed. Grote badkamer. Het hotel straalt mooie oude grandeur uit genoeg parkeerruimte. Het heeft wel wat achterstallig onderhoud maar dat heeft ook weer zijn charme. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Prima overnachting gehad via Social Deal. Uitstekende prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. We hadden een grote comfortkamer met balkon aan de binnentuin (patio). Goed bed, zitje in de kamer, fles water, alles zeer schoon, ook de badkamer zeer schoon. Alleen was de douche (met douchegordijn) aan de krappe kant. Receptie is bemand tot 20.00 uur, dus tijdig inchecken (anders moet je de sleutel bij een zusterhotel ophalen). Gezellige ontbijtzaal, fraai ingericht, prima ontbijt. Kortom we zijn zeer tevreden en snappen niets van de negatieve beoordelingen.

Zeer matig hotel met veel te hoge prijzen. Restaurant gesloten, na 20:00 geen receptie meer aanwezig. Bijna 200 euro voor een heel eenvoudige kamer die misschien 100 euro waard is. Prachtige foto’s op de website die totaal niet overeen komen met wat er in werkelijkheid wordt geboden.
