I was pleasantly surprised and happy that the building was clean, looked pretty updated and the guy that checked me in was very sweet. The room was very nice and the size was very nice. Rooms were nonsmoking YET someone was smoking **** on the 4th floor. I asked the front end manager and she said there was “nothing” she could do about it.”I can go into every room and check!” Then I asked about the breakfast and was told it was $5.00. She said no it’s $10. She said others have told her the same but it’s not true!!! I said don’t you think it might be worth clarifying. She said she guessed she’d have to have a meeting! No matter the physical appearances of a hotel, the staff should try to be more accommodating or at least pretend like a guests concerns matter. There is always something you can say or do to show concern for a guest

Good A/c works, clean room, diagonal grab bar in shower; Not good Terrible oval work table; not nearly big enough; had to put some things on the bed and turn around back and forth to do work; chair does not raise to a proper height and does not have any arm rests; no towel bars on the wall over the toilet to hang towels to dry; no hand towel bar on the wall next to the sink; shower door drain trough is rusty and has mold/mildew in it; the sink counter area is not long enough; the floor under the sink counter has dust and hair all over the floor; floor 4 WiFi is very weak, disconnects intermittently, and cannot even keep a tablet connected; the WiFi got so weak and terrible that I had to rely on my Verizon connection. The breakfast process needs improvement; the girl does not completely understand English; the oatmeal pot was empty down to scrapings around the bottom edge; when my wife told the girl we needed more oatmeal, she led my wife to the milk jug; my wife had to say oatmeal again and the girl then brought out a glass bowl of oatmeal; why didn't she at least 1/3 fill the pot? the amount of oatmeal she brought out was not enough for us both - I still had to scrape some oatmeal out of the pot bottom; bowls were behind a fruit display instead of being easily accessible; plates are irregularly shaped, apparently some sort of "artsy" presentation; the other food items are good, but the biscuit gravy is too thin.
