Good location with a bar and grill. The family restaurant closes at 9,that's the only downside but overall it's 10/10

I've traveled a lot in my career and stayed at many hotels, including "value" ones. This is one of the very few I've ever encountered where I checked out immediately. It was worth a one-day cancellation fee to find somewhere better.

Absolutely disgusting. Hallway and room stank like mildew (I'm hoping I don't end up with a mold or legionnaires disease infection from the bad air quality). The only things in the room that were clean were the bed linens, towels, and the toilet. Carpet was crusty and needed vacuuming, a layer of dust was on the furniture, splash mark stains were on the door and the headboard of the bed, luggage racks had mildew on them. The keycards absolutely wouldn't work at first and that should've been our first sign to leave and find a different place. After talking to management, we were finally able to get keycards to work so we could access the room. After that initial access, the keycards stopped working again. Not that this mattered much because we did not stay for our booked time.

We had stayed here several times before, and it was okay. This time, we were assigned a basement room. The entrance door to this part of the hotel did not lock. Anyone could just walk in. The hallway had a strong scent of ****. The room smelled of mold and cigarettes that the staff must've tried to cover with some sort of fragrance. It was a nauseating combination. As many others have said, the water was cold no matter what time of day or night we tried to take a shower. We had two nights scheduled originally and wanted to add a third (before we saw the room). I called a week ahead of the stay and asked to add a day on. The young man said the rental was already complete and to just wait until checkout time, go to the office, and add another day. When we checked in, I explained the situation to the woman and she said the same exact thing - wait until checkout time, go to the office, and add another day. Almost a half an our before checkout time, the manager called the room and told us that we needed to get out. He was extremely rude, especially since we were existing customers who are always quiet and leave our room in pristine condition. I went to the office to add another day (other hotels closer to the park were booked), and he was very rude again almost as if were were trying to get away with an extra day without paying. Those girls in the restaurant are SO NICE and fun to see every morning, unfortunately this is not reason enough to ever justify a return trip to this run down hotel.

We stayed at The Quality Inn for one night and that was too long. We would have left in the middle of the night, but with children it would have been too difficult to pack up and find somewhere else to stay. We had booked the hotel for the entire weekend. When we arrived it stunk like cigarettes. It was dirty. There was like a night club underneath the lobby that was loud and the floor was shaking. But that was okay. I could deal with that. As soon as I saw the cockroach run across the table in my room I was screaming and immediately called down to the lobby. They changed our room, but the other people we were staying with in other rooms also killed multiple cockroaches. We left in the morning afterwards and had to find somewhere else. The manager was not helpful. They clearly knew their hotel was infested with cockroaches. He only gave us 25% of our money back for the first night. He refunded us the second night. I would never return and highly recommend that no one stays here unless you don’t care about a cockroach infestation. I give one star for the breakfast because the waitress was great! But who knows if I ate cockroaches.

This hotel was a total disappointment. After getting checked in we opened the door to enter our end of the building. It immediately smacked you in the face, it reaked of stale cigarettes. During our stay we saw people standing in the doorways smoking, so much for no smoking signs. Went to our room -121 and when we turned the bathroom light on, several areas of paint peeling, not very inviting. Lamp bases were corroded, charging station, outlets in poor condition. Outlets were loose and not working. We took turns charging things with the outlet behind the desk. The non slip strips in the tub were worn and the tub floor was very slippery. The shower made a terrible noise a few minutes into showering. The toilet was leaking. On the upside was that it was clean water that was in puddles around both sides of the toilet. We reported it and they would" let them know" and we were offered extra towels to wipe it up. Needless to say we worried that where ever the leak was, it was going really let go and we would wake up to a flooded floor or come back to a mess while out for the day. The little restaurant was a plus. Staff was efficient, friendly and they were very attentive. Nothing fancy but the breakfast choices were decent and it was enough to get your day started. They always asked at the end if you wanted a coffee to go. Nice touch. We did dinner there when we arrived and it was good as well and the evening staff was just as nice. Fried foods were not greasy. Shout out to Kathleen from the morning shift. She was awesome. I regret I did not get the evening gals name. Granted this is an older place but things should have been maintained better. Real safety issues, electrical and with the water that was leaking around both sides of the toilet. This is probably one of the most disappointing stays we have had a Choice Hotel.
