Very accommodating, staff was extremely nice and helpful! The Lodestone golf course was very fun and the back nine holes had beautiful views. I would one hundred percent recommend taking a trip out for a day or two to play lodestone! The hotel is also extremely close to many restaurants!

The room was comfortable however, our room was not ready for check-in at 3 PM and we were not able to get into our room until close to 7 PM. The staff did not keep us updated and told us they had no idea when our room would be ready. The property itself feels dated and has a dirty feeling to it. The staff were not overly friendly or entirely helpful when it came to check in or finding our rooms or getting dinner. We will likely not stay again at the resort as a result of our experience.

First time skier: Overall I had fun, but the Terrain slope lift operator (bottom) was absolutely terrible. Yelling at people for how they used the lift without any indication on proper usage. I tried to ask for advice and also got yelled at despite announcing I was new to that lift style. Most workers for the resort were ok and nice, but a handful resorted to yelling and anger even in the beginners area.

Tired, run down and felt very unclean. We were told at checkin that there were no house keeping services during our stay due to staff shortages. Our room felt dusty and unclean and the bathroom floor was dirty. My son had a nosebleed one night and when we asked them to please change the sheets we were given a partial new set and told to change them ourselves. I understand that lack of staff is out of the control of the receptionist but the management should adapt accordingly. It is irresponsible to operate a fully booked hotel without adequate staffing in place.

The main lobby looks nice, but past that it is out dated and grungy. We left and got a refund because the room was so bad. How bad? The main entry light was falling out of the ceiling. The bathroom light was missing a cover. Water damage on bathroom ceiling tiles and wall without repair. The wall in the main area had active water leaks with bubbles in the paint. A smell of something like mold/mildew pervaded the room. There were dead gnats all over the bedding. Please save yourself the heartache of trying to find another place at the last minute. It is gross. Do not book here.

Was there with a group/conference. The place is clean but thats pretty much all I would say good about it. The room was old, hot and smells. The food wasn't good. Would not stay here. Better to get an Airbnb like a lot from our group did.

The room: It was a decent size and had a microwave, mini fridge, and sink. We had a couch and an ok bed. The AC didn't work great and the room felt muggy even with it on full blast. Construction: No one warned us when we checked in that they were replacing the roof... right above our room on the top floor. The went until 5pm on Friday and were back at it before 8:30am on Saturday morning. It was so loud it felt like they were hammering into my skull. And the ladder was right outside our window so occasionally we'd see someone going past. Breakfast: Left a lot to be desired. It was all pre-made, thawed things like muffins, some instant oatmeal, and either a banana or orange. Nothing with protein or really fresh. The hotel: Definitely dated and could use a good spruce. There didn't seem to be AC in the halls for the rooms so as you went up three floors, you could feel the wall of heat. The service: The woman working the front desk when we checked in was amazing. The 3 ladies ahead of us were extra and she had more patience than I'll ever possess. The location: Great for a weekend adventure for our anniversary. Easy to get to the creek for kayaking, great food nearby, and some lovely hikes.

Research what is open on the days you are visiting between the slopes, snow tubing, restaurants, store hours, all of it. It changes from day to day. The food options in the hotel are so overly priced for what’s worse than fast food standards. If you want anything decent, you’ll have to leave the hotel. The hours of the places within the hotel are ridiculous too, they close between 5 and 7pm. The pool was murky and there were clumps of hair floating around, dirt, mud and all kinds of gross stuff allover the floor surrounding the pool. My kids didn’t even want to swim again after one night of hanging out at the pool. The tub/shower in our room was clogged and it would flood up when we tried to shower for a couple of minutes and the water barely got warm. When we arrived in our room, the floor definitely hadn’t been vacuumed; there were remnants of food from the previous people on the floor. When I made the reservation online it said that we would get one free lift ticket or a free lesson and when I inquired about it over the phone after I booked our reservation, they said no, that wasn’t right. No housekeeping at all. Mostly kids that work here so there doesn’t seem to be a lot of pride in job performance or attention to detail. This place is not worth the money it charges, not even close. I suggest spending your money somewhere else if you are staying for more than one night.

This “resort” is really sad. Pool is freezing, hot tub is broken (and there is only one for an entire ski resort), house cleaning doesn’t happen unless you request it. There is only one outdoor fire pit and it’s not lit until night. Only one fireplace inside the lobby. Food is cafeteria food (think pre-packaged breakfast sandwiches that are microwaved). There is no coffee shop or anywhere to order eggs in the morning. Kids had to choose between hot dogs, pizza, and craft mac n cheese for every meal. Long lines at the lift (like, a 45 minute wait). Not to mention that it’s dirty. Avoid at all cost.
