We spent 3 nights in this hotel and we enjoyed. It is situated in a beautiful ( and well maintained !!) garden , with even a little stream running through it. The staff is very friendly, the service is good. The swimming pool was a blessing after camping 5 days on mount Elgon. The hotel has 2 restaurants , one them serving only local ugandan food. We had a room in the old wing : a bit outdated but fine : god bed, mosquito net, fan , hot shower . The hotel even has a gym , a sauna and a beauty saloon/ hairdresser Good value for money(€ 59 / night)

I had the best time ever at the hotel. The room I slept in, was one I never expected, It was beautiful and very well organised. The staff at the hotel are lovely and warm welcoming. The Hotel is the best place one can stay over when on holiday in mbale and Eastern Uganda as whole. Its a lovely place. Very lovely place. I was impressed by the organisation of the staff, from the entrance to the room, these people are caring and loving.I was very impressed, Indeed its a five star Hotel.

We were a group of 12 family and friends and stayed at Mbale resort hotel for 4 nights. We were highly impressed with the high standard of the hotel and the excellent service provided by all the friendly staff. They satisfied us with all our requests and we would highly recommend this hotel in Mbale as the best hotel there. The variety of food was also excellent.

The Mbale Resort has greatly improved its services since management changed hands from Protea back to the former owner. The staff now seem happier making the place brighter and more pleasant. The only downside are power blackouts but the hotel however has a standby generator. I believe the hotel rates are the best in East Africa. And breakfast is GREAT.

I had a wedding within the hotel gardens and we loved the whole beauty Mbale Resort exhibited both during the set up of everything till when we checked out. In particular, the service guys were so warm to us and so friendly as meal we ordered for reached on time. The gardens are good for photo moments. Visit them as well.
