Spent a night here. Lovely views of pine valley and soothing sounds from rushing river and very friendly and accommodating staff. We were given a welcoming coffee and cake at reception very nice. The room -comfortable clean bed but carpets were musty smelling and we were given old towels. The breakfast not bad. So overall 3.5/5 we would say

We are back home and missing our 2 weeks stay at Ematjeni, in Eswatini. Having visited Switzerland multiple times, we now find 'Switzerland is Eswatini of Europe', with natural mountains beauty, wonderful people, rich heritage, culture, food, and above all hospitality of Ematjeni owner and her smiling staff members.

Never again, do not speak or understand English. Pay everything in cash, carpets everywhere. Beautiful surroundings, food was simple but tasty. People laughed sometimes, but it was rather exceptional. We really did not feel welcome there. Ben and Pascale

This guesthouse is beautifully situated against the mountainside opposite Sibebe Rock with a view over the valley. The accommodation is perfectly fine with very spacious rooms and every detail has been thought of. Some advice to the guesthouse is to take everything a little more personally. It sometimes comes across as a bit uncomfortable and could all be a bit more jovial. Another tip is to have service at the table follow each other more slowly. For example, don't put a dessert if you are still working on the main dish. Extra credits for the very friendly staff who are very attentive and professional. Be sure to take a hike or walk through the beautiful nature with Michael the gardener. He is really super sweet and a skilled and perfect guide to learn more about Eswatini. Definitely recommended!
