Erster Eindruck war zwar super pompös durch den Eingangsbereich, aber leider sind die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen und riechen etwas komisch, Personal war auch nicht wirklich freundlich. Man fühlt sich eher wie eine Nummer als ein wertgeschätzter Gast. Der Service war sehr unpersönlich und minimal. Das Essen war dafür aber ok. Zu empfehlen ist aber die Bar nebenan! Hier sind ganz tolle Menschen!

Dit was voor ons een dieptepunt tijdens een geweldige reis. De kamer die we kregen was zeer gedateerd en uitgeleefd. Geen koelkast voor de medicijnen. De airco werkte niet naar behoren. De douchekop stond zo laag dat wij ons haar amper goed konden wassen. Geen afzuiging in de douche. Na twee douchers veranderde de ruimte in een sauna. Het ontbijt werd niet regelmatig aangevuld. We kwamen om 9 uur en troffen lege schalen. Het personeel was wel vriendelijk. Ook was de kamer wel redelijk schoon. Het hotel beschikt over gerenoveerde kamers. Vraag hiernaar bij het boeken. Vermijd in ieder geval kamer 1 t/m 12. Deze kamers zijn niet gerenoveerd en waren ons het geld echt niet waard.

This hotel had potential to be nicer. The grounds are vast, and beautiful views as it sits along a hill/mountainside. The rooms were very tired/outdated and had a stale smell. Some others on our trip requested a new room as a result. This was part of a tour, so no other option.

Beau en apparence mais il ne faut pas regarder de près. Hôtel mal insonorisé - chasse d'eau fuit ainsi qu'un des robinets du lavabo - porte salle de bain sale et rouillée sur les gonds. Pas de produits dans la salle de bain. Pas de tisane dans la chambre, seulement du thé ou du café. Petit buffet, par contre les croissants sont très bons. Literie confortable.

The best thing about the Mountain View is, well…the view. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Food was ok - nothing great, but more than adequate. The buffet had a large variety of dishes and dietary restrictions were accommodated sufficiently. The layout of the hotel is different. We walked under long covered sidewalks with lots of steps to our room. If you have mobility issues…you’ll need to be very careful. Our room was comfortable, but dated. We did notice the hotel starting to undertake renovations. So, even though the rooms are dated, you’ll be able to get a good night’s rest and take a nice, hot shower. The service commitment of the staff is exemplary. Food is ok - great (and very affordable) wine selections.

Very nice hotel. Well run and organized. Staff pleasant and helpful. They immediately address your issues if you have any. This hotel clearly knows how to accommodate large groups and the staff are trained to handle such. The layout of the hotel is nice as well. The Dinner and breakfast were good.

Stayed one night traveling through the area and it was a very nice hotel. Room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was great. The view was incredible- beautiful Mountain View’s all around the hotel!

From south Kruger to Mountain View in Eswatini was a horrible drive. It was pouring rain and sometimes we were in dense fog/in the clouds. And that with all the potholes and terrible speed bumps in the road, cows and goats and people on the road and a lot of truck traffic and dangerous overtaking attempts. We saw 2 nasty accidents on the way there. I would also have liked more explanation about the border formalities. Visit the offices twice for stamps and filling out forms. But there was nothing wrong with the hotel. We received a friendly welcome and were given an upgrade with a view, as I requested. Large room with refrigerator and coffee and tea making facilities. The suitcases were neatly brought to our room. Delicious breakfast! In short, we can highly recommend this hotel. Thank you!

Splendid location with a spectacular view, this hotel certainly has the potential to become a 5 star, but above all the rooms would need to be renovated. Very small beds, practically a square and a half where it is difficult to sleep for two, ugly and dated furniture. Large but outdated bathroom! The common areas are a little better, but not my taste. It's true that we are in Africa, but on our tour we found much nicer hotels.
