Petit séjour au Calypso Hôtel situé à Taormina a 100m de la plage. Ce petit hôtel, très sympa, est tenu par une belle et accueillante famille Sicilienne. Une des gérante parle le français. Tous les employés s'unissent pour vous faire partager leur bonne cuisine et leur bonne ambiance. Les chambres sont toujours très bien nettoyées. Tout le monde a le sourire. Ils seront au petit soins avec vous. Si vous recherchez le calme, la tranquillité, la bonne humeur et la bonne cuisine , c'est le bon endroit. Merci à Ludo et à toute la famille pour leur accueil. Brukar inte gnälla, men detta är ett väldigt enkelt och slitet hotell. Vår familj med två vuxna och två barn fick ett litet och lyhört rum med en dubbelsäng och en bäddsoffa. Endast en hylla i garderoben för hela familjen samt trasigt lås till balkongen. Balkongen var delad med skärmvägg med gästerna intill.
Positivt var att hotellet hade pool att restaurangen var trevlig och att det var nära till stranden.

The staff was very sweet and helpful. Loved that we had a huge balcony that faced the sea. Breakfast was nice but very simple.
Charged us to take coffee to our room which seemed unfair since it was "free breakfast". Beds were not so comfortable and they need more mirrors and plugs for a room that sleeps 4-6. Property a bit run down.

Wonderful family hotel, every detail is made with love. Next to an old church, the view from our hotel room was amazing. The restaurant has fresh sea food and you can order a special menu, where they drive with little boats through the restaurant, the food is on them. Beautiful wooden handmade boats, the waiter then wears a captains outfit. The pool is filled with plastic toys to use and the beach is just right over the street. I only didn’t liked the loud music they were already playing in the morning. The staff is super friendly and you feel like you are living with an Italian family.

Stanza grandissima (203), balcone immenso che guarda mare e piscina, ottima pulizia e prima colazione da sistemare. Ottimo il ristorante dove il proprietario Salvatore, ex pescatore, quasi ogni mattina esce per andare a pescare con la sua barca. Quello che trova lo si può mangiare già a pranzo e le stelle non bastano per classificare la cucina dove si trova la figlia ai fornelli. L'altro figlio, assieme a parenti, gestisce il ristorante e l'albergo che ha sole 14 camere. Passare un periodo di vacanze al Calypso è come stare in famiglia, a casa propria. Non si tratta di assegnazione di stelle come valutazione, ma il sentirsi sempre a proprio agio credo che valga il firmamento.

Ottimo ristorante, molta disponibilità e cordialità di tutto il personale. Consiglio di provare, soprattutto la parmigiana di pesce spada una vera delizia e non solo quella. Molto pulito, splendida piscina. Complimenti.

Tried it for the first time. We never left the restaurant. Ate very well thanks to the great professionalism and availability of the owners and staff. We had plans to eat at other places but didn't go as the one in the hotel was the best.
