Overall the room was decent. Trash sitting by the can near the elevator was unacceptable. It was there for almost 2 days before being removed. Housekeeping needs help, or more professional employees. We had to track down housekeeping because on our 3rd day we still hadn't been restocked with towels, old towels etc removed and trash changed. The housekeeper acted as if we were interrupting her, and we felt as if we were inconveniencing her by doing her job. Besides housekeeping, the only other issue was the pool. When booking here, we wanted to make sure the pool was operational. On the site at the time of booking it was closed for maintenance. When we arrived, there was a sign in the elevator stating the pool was closed until further notice. I checked daily until the night before we left Florida heading for Kentucky, imagine the disappointment when we saw the sign. I will say the breakfast was far more than I had anticipated, and since we were on the 3rd floor it was quiet. Check in and out was a breeze and hassle free.

What a great place to base our genealogy travel trip. Historic Downtown Maysville is wonderful. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable, and we loved our view of the Ohio River. Breakfast in the morning was great and it was very nice to be able to get beer and wine at the front desk. I hope we can return to Maysville again. We definitely recommend.

I have not travelled in almost 5 months due to a surgery. The last place I stayed was here before my surgery. I figured it was a good place to stay and had no complaints last time I was here so I figured it was a safe pick. Well the room was fine. What I noticed lacking was there is no longer soap or shampoo included in the room. Not a lot to ask for. Then I noticed the toilet continued to run after I flushed it the first time. Next night someone stayed in the room next to me and all I heard through the wall was the bathroom fan running for hours. The walls are thin and the rooms are not the cleanest. The location is convenient but will probably try another place next trip here.
