Giants Table and Cottages

A very spacious cottage with plenty of amenities such as a kitchen with the necessary utensils, salt, pepper and oil. On top of that, a washer plus a dryer for clothes. It’s also 30 mins away from the national park!

Just felt like I was at home and not in a motel,the inclusions were fantastic,everything we needed was there,had a great stay,we were very comfortable,and enjoyed our stay very much,my daughter had a paranormal experience with a small child,we r both believers.any other reports like my daughter had.

A great location, close to the Mount Field National Park. An older property with great sleeping options for a large group of travelers. Well stocked kitchen and good-sized fridge to take supplies. Got to see the platypus in the pond on site which was a treat. Fabulous communication from the owner and easy access. Sadly, lots of black mold in the shower corners and a bloody rag left in the washing machine. We also had to wash again all the crockery and cutlery we used as they were very dirty with fingerprints, lipstick and beer bubbles still on the glasses. Parking directly in front of the unit available and a nice walk locally.

Nice stay The place was amazing. Truly spacious and super clean. The kitchen was well-equpped and the fridge is clean and big for us to store our water bottles. The living room has nice sofa and well decorated and not cluttered. The bedroom was clean and bed was comfortable. There is a laundry room to do our laundry with a dryer. The toilet is clean. A slight of an issue is that the flushing mechanism in the toilet is not working. We have to find a public toilet. Other than that, the place is brilliant and quiet.

Really nice place. Makes a great base for exploring and hiking. Only downside is the bar and restaurant are not open all week.

My daughter, her husband and their two little boys (ages 3 and 6) were my husband and my guests for two nights at Cottage 2. We are in our 70’s and are used to all kinds of accommodations but this was the worst we have ever been in! The rooms were filthy, the kitchen appliances were despicable, the shower moldy and creepy. The light fixtures were full of bugs and even what looked like a dead mouse! The smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling. The so called decorative pillows were stained and leaves were growing out of the lounge ceiling! An old pair of socks hung from the patio rafter. Three rat traps were left visible in the kitchen and water stains were on most of the walls! We were so sad at the state of the cottage that we left the next morning! The manager graciously gave us a refund for one night. I asked for an additional refund but was denied. The manager said we didn’t have to stay if we weren’t satisfied however, there was absolutely no other place to go! The abysmal state of the cottage took us awhile to fully take in!
