Hotel Wassberg

Our one night stay was very pleasant: nice room, comfortable bed, good evening meal and breakfast. It was unfortunate that the weather meant we couldn’t see much of the view, as I’m sure it must be a wonderful scenic and tranquil location when it’s sunny.

Nice quality basic hotel. Interior can be made a bit more modern in my view. The lake in front gives you a good swiss experience. Both dinner and breakfast were really well made with passion. Also house wine was well selected. Staff is really nice.

I love this location just outside Zürich and would stay here quite frequently but have been ill multiple times as a result of their refusal or ignorance with regard to food allergies. During our last visit, the waitress actually made a joke about allergies and then proceeded to knowingly deliver to our table multiple food items we'd discussed that 2 members of our party could not eat. I would plan a lot of large events here if the food was better. It's a shame -- there are many local establishments doing a far better job of providing extremely high quality, locally sourced, healthy, modern options that build on Swiss tradition. This is not one of those places. I have a group coming October and this would be my location of choice but cannot book here due to poor treatment and food preparation quality. Also people should know (this is not the hotel's fault, but important to know): this hotel is in a flight path for Zürich airport. Very early (6 am) some mornings, many planes fly extremely low over the hotel. It was difficult Geta full night's sleep.

Themis Hotel is set on an amazing hill with the view that’s just astonishing then peeking outside of the window. Moreover the food is delicious! The staff amazing, like they read our mind when do we want to order and what! I would go back there anytime. I would recommend it to anyone.
