道後温泉の中心から少し離れた住宅街にある宿泊施設でした。 楽しみにしていた浴場へ行くと、洗い場に「故障の為使用禁止」と掛札があり、いかにも公務員の施設だなと感じました。サウナは室内の電気が点いておらず真っ暗でタイマーも壊れていました。 食事は何種コースかあり、私は坊っちゃん懐石を頼みました。味はどれもとても美味しく食事の進み具合に合わせて次々と温かい料理が運ばれたので、この点はとても満足しました。飲み物のお酒は高く、施設内の自販機もアルコール類が高かった。 朝食は籠の中ににいろいろなおかずをセットにして運ばれてきて、量もちょうどよかったです。ご飯と納豆と海苔はお代わりが自由で、食後はロビーでコーヒーのサービスもありました。 もう少し柔らかいサービスがあればかなり満足できたのに残念であります。
