Title: A Disappointing Stay at Sendai's 大江户温泉物語松島温泉壯觀酒店 I recently had the misfortune of staying at the 大江户温泉物語松島温泉壯觀酒店 in Sendai, and I must say that my experience left much to be desired. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this hotel was not up to par with my expectations. First and foremost, the location of the hotel was rather lackluster. Situated in Sendai, I had hoped for a scenic and picturesque view of the surrounding area, but instead, I was greeted with a rather uninspiring landscape. The hotel's proximity to attractions and amenities was also quite inconvenient, as it required a fair amount of travel to reach any notable destinations. The staff at the hotel were far from friendly or accommodating. Their lackadaisical attitude and indifference towards the guests were disappointing, to say the least. Requests for assistance or information were met with apathy, leaving me feeling ignored and unimportant. It is evident that the staff lacked the proper training in customer service and hospitality. The accommodations themselves were subpar and in dire need of renovation. My room was outdated, with worn-out furnishings and a general sense of neglect. The cleanliness standards were questionable, and I encountered several maintenance issues throughout my stay. The lack of attention to detail and upkeep was simply unacceptable. In terms of dining options, the hotel fell short yet again. The on-site restaurant served mediocre food with limited choices. The quality of the meals was average at best, failing to impress even the most casual of diners. The lack of variety and flavor left me disappointed and longing for better culinary experiences. Furthermore, the overall ambiance of the hotel was lacking. The atmosphere was dull and devoid of any character or charm. The common areas felt neglected and poorly maintained, further contributing to the overall sense of dissatisfaction. In conclusion, my experience at the 大江户温泉物語松島温泉壯觀酒店 was far from satisfactory. The lackluster location, indifferent staff, outdated accommodations, underwhelming dining options, and overall lack of care and attention to detail made for an unenjoyable stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a pleasant and memorable experience in Sendai.

The two prospect hot springs on the fifth floor are top-notch! Men and women rotate in the morning and afternoon. There is also a hot spring on the first floor with massage services. Massage is not recommended. The sofa area on the third floor overlooks Matsushima and offers a variety of free drinks and snacks. Very relaxing area. 40 minutes of free karaoke can be reserved before 8 pm, and there are Chinese songs to choose from. The hotel is directly connected to the glass pavilion next to it, and you can visit it for free with your room card. Bicycle rental is free. Breakfast and dinner are very rich and delicious. Dinner is a buffet of 11,000 yen per person including tax. There are also many choices of drinks and wines. The oyster rice and chestnut cake are especially recommended for dinner. The sanitation of the hotel is very good, and the attitude of the service staff is also good. The hotel provides free bus transfers between Songdo Station and Songdo Coast Station. You can check the timetable on the hotel website, which usually coincides with the train schedule.

The owner and his wife are very kind. Although it is a bit far away from Songdo coast attractions and it is difficult to walk in the snow in winter, it is very quiet. There were only two of us on the night of check-in, so we were allowed to bathe together🤣. The owner even sent us to the station the next day ~ a beautiful traditional hotel

Our family of five went on a trip to Matsushima, and although the weather wasn't the best due to the time of year, the view from our room was amazing! ️ Above all, the food was amazing! ️ We were given matcha as a welcome drink, and for dinner and breakfast, we had dishes made with local produce, and even the desserts were delicious! ️ It's become a great memory of Matsushima 😊 Thank you very much.

In the hotel on the mountain, it feels safer, you can see the sea view, dinner is booked in a lunch box type, because it was still an epidemic before, so I chose this, but breakfast is eaten in the restaurant, breakfast is very rich after eating, I feel that dinner will be great if I choose to eat in the restaurant, because breakfast is very good. Overall, the food in this room is very good.

If you go to the hotel from the jr platform, you may need to fumble a bit. Everything else is almost perfect. On the hill is really on the hill. Of course, if you don’t know English, there may be a little problem. It depends mainly on luck. Some young ladies are good at English. Some are not so good. Two nights in Matsushima are enough. The rooms are traditional Japanese style. About the size of eleven cushions, the toilet and bathroom are relatively narrow. I liked Songdo Coast so much that I decided to stay for one night. On the way to Fukuurashima Red Bridge, I passed by this large hotel. Each terrace faced the sea. I was attracted by it. I searched the platform and found that a single room only cost 600+, so I decisively decided to book a stay. After checking in, I felt like it was a large complex hotel that is common in Japan. The room corridor is very long and luxurious. There is a Japanese restaurant called ”Lele” on the first floor. It is open until 11 or 12 o'clock at night. I saw posters with taro beef hotpot and ********* fresh food. Yuxian and Miyagi local sake, after taking a bath, I heard bursts of laughter when I passed by. There is also my favorite large bathhouse, which is very large and has two open-air baths. There is also a beverage area in the lobby. Apple cider vinegar and plum water are both delicious. There are FamilyMart and 711 not far behind the hotel. The only flaw is that the guy at the front desk didn't feel very enthusiastic.

The location of the hotel is one step away from the railway station, which is very convenient. The tatami rooms, hot springs, and food are all Japanese, so you can really experience it. The scenery is very beautiful and the cultural landscape is rich.
