I thought there would be a breakfast area, but I was surprised to find that the breakfast area was in the lobby.

The staff assisted with check-in and check-out via the machine, which was very convenient. The location is great. It's about a 10-minute walk from JR Matsumoto Station, and the museum and Matsumoto Castle are both within walking distance. The breakfast room on the first floor doesn't have a wide selection, but the food is quite good. Considering the prices of food outside, I think the accommodation is very reasonable. There's also a coffee machine, ice machine, and water dispenser, all free to use. Overall, I was quite satisfied.

The hotel is close to the station and it's a 7-8 minute walk from the station. It's nice to enjoy the bars and local restaurants on the way. This was my first time using the auto check-in system, so I was a little confused, but after trying it once, it was fine. A room key card is issued from the machine. Incidentally, you also use this machine to check out. After receiving your room key, you can pick up the necessary amenities, tea bags, nightgowns, etc. from the side of the front desk and take the elevator straight to your room. There are two elevators, and they work without any stress. This was a non-smoking room with a queen-size bed for two adults. The bed is spacious with a firm spring, so you can lie down comfortably. The toilet and bathroom are shared and a little small, but they are new and clean. Of course, there is a toilet with a shower. After bathing, you can hang a clothesline above the bathtub, which was very convenient. Any small dishes you wash will dry by morning. The breakfast venue is a buffet style that uses the space next to the lobby. There are not many seats, so you will have to line up at 6:30. You can also pack your food in a bento box-style disposable container and eat it in your room. Several types of Japanese and Western side dishes are provided. Considering that it's free, it's very satisfying! It's delicious. You can choose between strong and American coffee. There is even cold water and ice, and many people check out by putting their own bottles in it. If you are driving, you can use the hotel's paid multi-story parking lot until 10am for 500 yen per night. An attendant will guide you in and out. It was a reasonable and easy-to-use hotel. As for requests, I would like more places to hang hangers. There is only a flexible light on one side of the bed, so it would be even more appreciated if they could improve this. I will definitely use it again when I come to Matsumoto.
