The hotel is located just 5 minutes away from Kappa Bridge. From the central point, you can go to Taisho Pond or Myojin Pond separately, so you don’t have to spend a whole day chasing them.
Hotel reservations include breakfast and dinner. Although there are not many varieties, they are all local seasonal ingredients. Hotel staff can communicate in English and are polite.
Since most hotels in Kamikochi are fully booked during the red leaf season, I booked the remaining female beds for me. The experience was similar to that of a Japanese youth hostel. The room hygiene and beds were better than expected.
