Price performance is great, good location, low price with breakfast and dinner, room is big. BUT, a big but is hotel is very old , like in the 80s, very dark in the building like ghost will come out. Furthermore , NO wifi! This is probably the style of this group hotel. I stayed in other hotel of universal, some better some worse. I will still recommend it

Good and nice location

Matsue universal hotel is a good hotel. It is located nearby train station which is more convenient to transport. I can go to the city closed to hotel. It is comfortable for me to go shopping. Bedroom is good but there is small smell from furniture. It is a big room and service is good. I recommend you to book this hotel, good price, good place and good facilities.

Bad service and not clean

The room is super big and only 1 minute walk from the station, super convenient. It's only a 30-minute walk from Matsue Castle. There are many restaurants nearby where you can enjoy delicious meals. Highly recommended.

Fantastic hotel, right next to Songjiang Station. Free breakfast and dinner are provided, both are delicious.

The location is excellent. The room I booked was upgraded to a twin room, which I am very grateful for. This price includes breakfast and dinner, which is really a bargain. It is also very close to Songjiang Station, about 1-2 minutes walk. The only drawback is that there is a sunken staircase at the entrance, which is a bit inconvenient when carrying large luggage.

I was very happy that breakfast and dinner were free. The only disappointing thing was that WiFi was not available in the room and I had to go down to the lobby on the first floor to use it.

The hotel is old! But the location is really good! Only a 2-minute walk from Songjiang Station! The transportation is very convenient! The food is just so-so. However, those who don't eat hotel breakfast and dinner can also eat out! The hotel didn’t despise us because we are poor, so we can’t despise it because it is old! What do you want for a bicycle for more than 100 yuan? There is no Wi-Fi in the hotel rooms, so you need to use your own mobile data. Or go to the lobby on the 1st floor to surf the Internet. Because the hotel is old, you can't ask too much from it! All in all it's worth the price!

It's worth the price. I stayed there in the middle of winter. It was about 4000 yen including breakfast and dinner, I'm sure the lobby and elevator are old, but it was worth the price and I didn't mind it at all. Also, a hotel that still has an ashtray in the bathroom is great for smokers! If I had to say one thing, I was a little surprised that the bath water was boiling water from the start. Also, there is no wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby and restaurant, so be careful if you're working! It may be old, but it was fun to stay in a hotel like this after a long time! I'll stay here again.
