Matsue City Hotel (Annex)

古い作りのホテルですが、ロケーションは最高でした。近くには飲食店が沢山あり、お部屋のファイルにはそれぞれの飲食店の紹介がありました。夕飯選びはそのファイルの情報を頼りにしましたので、困りませんでした。各部屋に温泉の源泉が引かれていて楽しめました。観光目的なら言うことないホテルでした。

The room was very old, but comfortable overall, and because it was old, the door was locked with a key. Apart from check-in, there is basically no management. If you mind, don't book it. However, there are not many cheap hotels available locally, so this one is pretty good.

The hotel walls themselves are thin, so you can hear a lot of noise. The hot spring water is piped into the faucets in the rooms, so you can enjoy the hot spring water in the indoor bath. I think the rooms are kept very clean. The room itself is small, so it would be more convenient if there was something like a shelf to put your luggage on.

I was able to walk to Matsue Castle, which was my destination. The hotel also had free bicycles available for rent, but I was able to get around the area by walking. The room was smaller than I expected and old, but it was clean. All rooms had hot springs, which was great. There were special benefits when eating dinner at nearby restaurants. One restaurant even gave me a complimentary appetizer. I couldn't park in the parking lot before check-in, but if I went early, they would show me to an affiliated parking lot. I had to pay an extra fee, but it wasn't a big deal.

The room was very small and the facilities were minimal. But I guess that's to be expected for such a cheap price. There are many restaurants around the hotel, so the food was excellent! The seafood izakaya recommended by the hotel staff was the best.
