My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of December in the Warren room and it was so comfortable! Ziz was the perfect host, what a lovely place the Sheriff Lodge is, close to town and 5 mins from a lovely nearby pub for an evening meal. The breakfast was amazing with so much choice, the homemade granola topped with fruit was the best! Overall a wonderful place to stay and we will return in the summer. Thank you Ziz once again, kind regards lan & Christine x

Fantastic stay at a beautiful B&B, which was very clean. Ziz was so helpful with advise on places to eat and also great walking routes. This is the second time we’ve stayed here and the rooms were just as gorgeous. The choice of breakfasts were amazing with the best scrambled eggs. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay Ziz

Amazing!!
My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of December in the Warren room and it was so comfortable! Ziz was the perfect host, what a lovely place the Sheriff Lodge is, close to town and 5 mins from a lovely nearby pub for an evening meal.
The breakfast was amazing with so much choice, the homemade granola topped with fruit was the best!
Overall a wonderful place to stay and we will return in the summer.

We had a beautiful stay at Sheriff Lodge. The room was spacious and comfortable and the entire lodge is well decorated with attention to detail including the music in the Drawing Room, information about the local area and amenities in guest rooms. Ziz was generous, helpful and knowledgeable and makes the most amazing breakfasts, as well as lovely coffee. The homely vibe makes the B&B unique and characterful. We would love to stay again

My mum and I just got back from a lovely two night stay at Sheriff Lodge. Ziz, the owner was incredibly helpful from start to finish. She helped us find a lovely place to eat on our first night and made sure everything was perfect for our arrival. The house is beautiful and has lots of character and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with home made cereals, fresh baked pastries, hams and cheeses etc. Its only a 5 minute walk from the town so great for going out in the evening for dinner and drinks. We loved our stay and would return in a heart beat.

As a solo traveller it’s lovely to have a friendly home from home place to stay and Sheriff Lodge delivers - with a touch of luxury too! My room was beautifully set out, lovely decor to give a calm relaxing feel. In the wardrobe there was a complementary box of things you might forget - so handy! The continental breakfast was a real treat - I had put in a request for overnight oats and they were yummy. Thank you so much Ziz for great hospitality - even with your arm in plaster you still delivered the perfect stay. Looking forward to my next visit to Sheriff Lodge in the spring.

Enjoyed the continental breakfast which was a nice change. Fabulous room, bed very comfy and room very clean. Nice touch was "the things you may have forgotten box", lovely idea. Loved The White Company products. Nice to have a chat with Ziz

A very unfriendly arrival. Left to switch on lights in dining room/sitting area . No soap in containers,in shower room. Breakfast was abysmal,2slices of sliced cheese, poor quality ham slices,out of date cereal, single portion dish of jam, under cooked croissant raw in the middle, raspberries and blueberries were nice.no cooked breakfast. Rooms were a saving grace.
