Perfect place to visit the Karamoja region! Nice place, with good food and very kind staff. The food served was also very good. Also the best place for tours in the region. Guides are provided by the place and show you in a unique way around the region.

Prima accommodatie met vriendelijk en behulpzame mensen. Zijn flexibel en denken in oplossingen. Comfort en hygiëne oké. Het eten is er heerlijk. Zwakke waterdruk en stroomuitval. Geweldige ervaring bij de Kraal mede dankzij Daniel. Een zeer kundige en gedreven gids. Overnachting bij een Kraal maakt een onuitwisbare ervaring!

Abbiamo trascorso una notte nel villaggio di una tribù Karimojong , avevamo il timore di vivere una esperienza costruita per i turisti, invece è stato tutto emozionante, dai balli ai canti, dai bambini alle storie raccontate al chiaro di luna. fantastico anche la mattina presso il nomadic cattle camp ! GRAZIE Kara-Tunga e GRAZIE alla nostra fantastica guida Joseph per la bellissima esperienza !

Very nice place for birding. I skeped matheniko and tried the missionary trails, I found incredible species!! Come visit the place birders and you will not be disappointed. The lists must be built for this place, my clients were so happy and I am very happy too

I went on the 3 day hike to the summit of MT Kadam. Under guidance of Timothy, Emma and John we hiked up to the base camp and the day after to the top of the mountain. Everything was well organised with enough nice food, a great tent to sleep in and enough water. The organisation even helped me get transport to and from nakapiripirit, so i could start and end the hike without a worry!

I had a fantastic stay at this camp in Moroto, which truly feels like an oasis in town. While it’s not a luxury resort, it’s undoubtedly the best accommodation within hundreds of kilometers, offering comfort, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The heart of the camp is its open terrace restaurant/bar/seating area, where guests can unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The food is mostly European/American, always tasty and reasonably priced—a pleasant surprise in such a remote area. The staff were exceptionally kind, flexible, and laid-back in the best way possible. A special mention to Jeremy at the restaurant/bar, who was always attentive and welcoming. The programs they organize were absolutely fantastic, with a friendly, knowledgeable, and informative guide who made the experiences truly memorable. If you're visiting Moroto, this is the perfect place to stay—highly recommended!

A very impressive trip. Magic forest, nice flowers and birds. Porters and guide helped me in a good way to manage the difficult passages. It was tough but I succeeded to reach the summit. I liked the silence of the mountains. We didn't meet other people, only one old man who lives on the slopes of the mountain.

The accommodation was comfortable - but there was an issue with hot water. I requested some hot water in a bucket together with a cup so I could have a bucket bath. The hot water came but rather than a cup - a jug was provided that wouldn't bit into the bucket. I was also then expected to pour cold water from the jerry can into the bucket with the hot water. This is not possible for an elderly person - but assistance was given when requested.
