Auf unserer Safari waren wir total in 3 Lodges und 2 Hotels. Bis jetzt waren meine 4 Bewertungen ALLE mit 5 Sternen belohnt worden. Dieses Hotel jedoch verdient knapp 2 Sterne! Das erste Nachtessen war leider ungeniessbar! Danach gingen wir hungrig ins Zimmer und wollten duschen. Es gab KEIN Wasser. Leider wurden wir über diese doch recht wichtige Sache nicht informiert. Danach ungeduscht ins Bett, wo wir feststellen mussten, dass die Matratze steinhart war. Das es dann am Morgen wieder kein Wasser gab ist irgendwie nicht nachvollziehbar. Am nächsten Morgen freuten wir uns auf das Frühstücksbuffet, welches den Namen BUFFET definitiv nicht verdient hat. Es gab Toastbrot, Marmeladen und etwas Körner und Saft. Wir konnten auch Omeletten bestellen, hatten aber nach einer langen Wartezeit keinen Hunger mehr. Auf diesem Weg möchten wir Priska ganz herzlich danken! Sie war der Grund warum wir das Hotel nicht fluchtartig verlassen haben. Sie versprach uns zu sorgen dass unsere Wassertanks sofort ausgetauscht werden und wir immer einen Salat bestellen können (was so eigentlich nicht möglich war). Leider waren wir dort 4 Tage und haben uns dann irgendwie arrangiert, da wir wenigsten von da an immer Wasser im Zimmer hatten. Das Mittagessen bestand bei uns meistens aus Salat, das Abendessen auch aus Salat mit Hühnchen das essbar war. Es war sehr schade, dass genau das letzte Hotel so ein Reinfall war. Immerhin haben wir in diesem Hotel kein Gramm zugenommen!

I had an amazing stay at Zanzibar Pearl in Matemwe. The hotel’s location, right on the beach, offers stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, with breathtaking ocean views. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure I felt welcome throughout my stay. The food was delicious, especially the fresh seafood, and dining by the beach at sunset was a highlight. With great access to local activities and the natural beauty of Zanzibar, Zanzibar Pearl is the perfect spot for both relaxation and adventure. Highly recommend!

L'hotel est sur une des plus belles plages blanches de Zanzibar, il est parfaitement intégré à l'environnement. Le service en chambres est parfait, très propre, le parc et la plage sont parfaitement entretenu. Petit bémol , le service au restaurant est très mal organisé .

We couldn’t leave faster. First impression was very friendly staff, location is nice. However, whilst ordering a drink at the bar we watched the bartender place his hands into the ice bucket and drop the ice into drinks- these weren’t our drinks. We immediately called him out and he was astonished we had a problem with this. We immediately made arrangements to check out the following morning. Pool - water is cloudy Food - some of the worst I’ve experienced, fish so dry and heavily salted, omelettes like rubber Room - had air-con but 3 open windows, lol, so air- con makes no difference Staff -kids serving and pouring drinks at the bar, manager insisted we write that she was responsive in our complaint

Gut geführtes Resort mit aufmerksamem Personal, Restaurant sehr gut, gepflegter, sauberer Strand, Schwimmen bei Flut sehr gut, bei Ebbe muß man wegen der Seeigel hinter dem Riff vorsichtig sein, Badeschuhe werden gestellt, in der Nachbarschaft Tauch- und Schnorcheltouranbieter. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.

Sehr schöne gepflegte Anlage am mehr mit super freundlichen Personal, welches immer auch ganz früh morgens oder in der Nacht für die Gäste da ist - egal , ob es um Ausflüge oder das Flughafen Taxi geht. Man sitzt überdacht mit Blick auf s Meer und kann Frühstück, Mittagessen und Abendessen a la carte bestellen. Menüs wechseln täglich. Für den Gang ins Meer bei Ebbe stehen Reefbootis zur Verfügung. Einen schönen Pool gibt es auch.
