Surtout prenez le temps de manger un rice and curry maison. Après 8 H de marche dans la jungle c'est le top! L'accueil est chaleureux, et c'est la porte d'entrée pour les balade dans la jungle. Bonne adresse

Hôtel niché en plein coeur de la jungle et c'est son gros avantage. On peut donc partir de bon matin à la découverte de cette sublime forêt primaire. Les bungalows sont récents et assez confortables. L'accès a l'hôtel est très "compliqué" : depuis Deniyaya, 6 km de routes défoncées, il faut quasiment une heure. Ensuite, il faut prendre un tuk tuk (payant) puis finir à pied (5mn). Les chiens - très gentils - ne cessent d'aboyer et ce, même en pleine nuit. Les repas, à notre avis réchauffés, ne sont pas terribles.

Um zu der Unterkunft zu gelangen, muss man den letzten Kilometer mit dem Tuk Tuk zurücklegen (in anderen Ländern wäre es wohl ein Allradfahrzeug). Das ist schon eine abenteuerliche Piste - aber die Fahrer sind erfahren und machen das ständig. Also keine Angst! Die Unterkunft liegt traumhaft mitten in der Natur, nur ein paar Schritte vom Rainforesteingang entfernt. Sie ist schon recht einfach (wir hatten eine der drei Holzhäuser). Aber Mann muss ja auch berücksichtigen: mitten auf dem Land/in der Natur und dabei ein voll ausgestattetes Bad, Kühlschrank, Ventilator (Decke und Standgerät). - Deshalb auch 4 Punkte. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, frisch und schmackhaft zubereitet, der Service sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

The hotel is in the heart of the forest and very difficult to access. You have to get there by tuk-tuk on a rutted path and then on foot for 200 m, not easy when you have 2 suitcases and a backpack each... the comfort is spartan, no air conditioning, just a ceiling fan and another on a stand. The service is almost non-existent and the food is expensive and poor quality. We had seafood noodles but the shrimp and squid were completely dried out, probably by multiple cooking. In short, this hotel does not deserve its three stars! So big disappointment, whether in terms of comfort, service or food!

Wir haben hier 3 erholsame Nächte verbracht. Was uns richtig gefallen hat: + super nette Besitzer & Team, sehr familiär + Frau kocht tolle Curry's mit Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten + gutes Frühstück inkl. + alles mit viel Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet, einladend und gemütlich + 2 Hütten auf dem Hügel und 3 Cabanas, alle super sauber mit Ventilator, großer Dusche, Kühlschrank, Moskitonetz, super dicker Matratze + schöner Garten mit Blick auf den Fluss und den Regenwald + Badestelle am Fluss + Eingang zum Regenwald 3min Fußweg + organisierte Touren mit sehr guten Guides (sprechen super englisch) + sehr ruhig und abseits gelegen (einschlafen mit Regenwaldgeräuschen inklusive) Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen!!! ＜3

De lodge is niet bereikbaar per normale auto, maar vanuit Poddana werd ik per tuktuk naar de lodge gereden. Het laatste stukje is dan vrij hobbelig. De manager, Rukshan, is een echte gastheer. Super attent richting de gasten. De aankomst was dan ook bijzonder hartelijk. Ik kreeg een paalwoning, vlakbij de rivier. Van alle gemakken voorzien, inclusief goed en snel werkende wifi. Tegen het einde van de middag werd de menukaart langs gebracht, om aan te geven, wat ik wilde eten. En met het eten was hier ook niks mis. Via de lodge kun je ook een gids boeken, die je meeneemt het regenwoud in. Er zijn diverse mogelijkheden om wandelingen te doen en zo'n gids ziet erg veel, moet ik eerlijk zeggen. Aanrader.

Dobre miejsce na naładowanie akumulatorów po spacerze po lesie deszczowym. Bardzo dobre i bardzo tanie posiłki- porcje gigantyczne. My z mężem najedliśmy się do rozpuku jedną porcją makaronu z warzywami ;) Pragnę dodać całkiem przyzwoitego jak na Sri Lankę.

2 stone bungalows. Simply furnished, double bed and shower. Small open restaurant that is often visited by hikers. Everything a bit overpriced, including the food offered and the TUK-TUK pick-up
