Motel la Marina

What a great motel. I regret doing little more than sleeping here after checking on about 8:30 pm after getting off the ferry from Baie Comeau. My room faced the St. Lawrence River and when I pulled up to my room all sorts of people were sitting in these gliding rockers on the the river bank enjoying each others company. The room was bright and airy. My room didn't have an air conditioner, but I'm guessing the days you'd need one are few and far between. There is a ceiling fan that moves a lot of air and the windows open to the outside. The clerk at the front desk was spot on when he told me I should make the shot ride to downtown and dine at La Fabrique, a brew pub that is open late. I highly recommend this place. I had stayed at the nearby Riotel a few years before. It's a nice place, but I like the vibe and the price of the Motel La Marina.

Great place to stay. Reasonable price

All good as above, but I don't know why in the office season they would put guests on the highway side of the motel instead of the quieter river side. The walls are not very soundproof as even normal TV volume come through. I would suggest spacing the guests out when possible. Also, ******* should post in currency applicable to the country of location of the hotel, to avoid confusion.
