Love Ridge Mountain Lodging

Excellent cabin. Really enjoyed the firepit under the darkest skies and brightest stars. Jacuzzi was a hot and bubbly evening delight. We ordered the lasagne for our arrival. Excellent flavour and was perfect way to arrive. Comfortable beds. Only drawback tovthe cabin, and not a really big problem was only one toilet and bath. Four adults meant a lot of time waiting. Would definitely stay again.

We visited LovecRidge to have a reunion with a number of relatives we hadn't seen in years, and had a great time. Our group had three cabins and all were very comfortable and well equipped. The area is beautiful and we went hiking each morning on the many nearby trails, and had s'mores at our cabin's fire ring in the evening. There was plenty of firewood availablefor our use. Our cabin had a problem with the bathroom sink. I texted the owners about it in the morning, and when we got back from our hike it was all fixed. We enjoyed playing croquet and other games from the well-stocked game shed. This is a lovely spot, and my wife and I started talking about another visit on our way home from this one.

We loved our cute little cabin! Very comfortable & just perfect for a mountain getaway. It's just feet off the Blue Ridge Parkway, and even though the Parkway was unfortunately closed for storm damage while we were there, there was no shortage of other hikes & exploring in the area. We loved the firepit next to the cabin!

Lovely cabin, our kids did not want to leave. The game room with toys and train set, plus the outdoor swings won them over! Everything was spotless and clean - unfortunately some previous guests had used some blankets outside so they smelt of smoke, but the owner brought us freshly laundered ones to replace them. Very calm and peaceful. Good cooking facilities and well-equipped kitchen.

Loved it! So clean. Bedding and towels were very clean. Bathroom very clean. Kitchen very clean. So serene. Enjoyed sitting under the porch and observing nature. Only feet from the Blue Ridge Parkway access. Will stay again. Only 15 miles from the entrance of the Shenandoah national Forest and Skyline Drive.

This is the perfect getaway. We had read all the reviews online and yeah, this place was even better than we had expected. Our cabin was cute and had everything we needed. It was clean, functional, and very comfortable. Everyone was really nice at the ridge and we are looking forward to going back. We loved the hot tub and enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit. It was so nice to be able to cook dinner and enjoy some alone time together. There is a very friendly cat at the lodge named Chester. Chester is delightful, but once she attaches herself to you, she is likely to be with you for the whole journey. Don’t be surprised if she sits outside of your cabin waiting for you to come out.

A wonderful place where just one night feels like a whole week's rest. We were thrilled and would recommend everyone to treat themselves to a short break here. By far the highlight of our trip. Many thanks to the operators for their attention to detail and this wonderful facility in the middle of beautiful surroundings.

Absolutely lovely cabin and gorgeous view of the Blue Ridge Mountains! Kitchen was fully equipped and we especially enjoyed the hot tub. When we weren't sure how to turn on the fireplace, someone came within minutes of our call. We are already planning when we can go back!
