Rockwood continues to be our favorite B&B in VA. We have always stayed in the Bell Room which is on the 1st floor. It is a large room with lots of windows, a gas fireplace, and easy access to the dining area. There are several hiking trials in the area, the Cascades is our favorite.

This was a great stop for us! Frank & Rochelle were lively, the home was really pretty and the room was very comfortable. Everything was very clean -we were very pleased! I recommend it highly!

Frank and his family went out of their way to be helpful in every way. A beautiful home and lovely setting provided a much needed respite from a stressful day of driving.

Historic Manor refurbished in the colonial style 1870s. Hospitality is an additional treat with historic tour of the Manor included by the Host. Definitely recommend staying at Rockwood Manor to enjoy touring the sites nearby like Virginia Tech University and Radford University.

Lovely well maintained manor house in beautiful rural Virginia. Full of antiques and family heirlooms. Made in more special because the host can tell you stories of the area and house. Nice breakfast. Eventually hot shower. Comfy common rooms. Nice porch. Near to Radford for more dinner options.

We absolutely loved our stay at Rockwood Manor. When traveling, we look for out of the ordinary places to stay, places with character, history, beauty... This wonderful place has it all. Our room was spacious, clean, charming, and had a beautiful view. Our bathroom was just around the corner in the hall, but was just ours so it really wasn't a problem. Robes were provided, too, which was thoughtful. In the evening we played games in the beautiful sitting room downstairs and just imagined the people and conversations those walls have witnessed. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and meeting the hosts a bonus.
By all means, don't pass this up. We'd come back in a heartbeat given the chance!

We came to Rockwood to meet up with some family that we had not seen in years. We had a total of 4 rooms ( 3 in the house 1 in the barn) and the place just felt like a family home. Friendly Inn keeper, great breakfast, spacious rooms, and well appointed common areas. Nice private location just minutes from the interstate. Over all the experience was very relaxing. Would definitely go back again.

We used Rockwood Manor as a home base for a family reunion. It was a wonderful space to hang out with family in the evening. The house and grounds are beautiful. Breakfast is delicious. This is our second time to stay there and both times have been great.
