Al 32 B&B

We needed a place to stay in MM at the last minute, called on a chance, and Elena took care of everything. On arrival the next day after a long drive she met us at the street to let us unload the suitcases before directing us to free parking. The room was super comfortable and clean, breakfast was truly tasty. Her local restaurant recommendation was also superb.

Our 5 star rating is made without hesitation. We spent about 2 weeks at AL32 and it exceeded all of our expectations. The B&B is located close to the central piazza with easy access to all that the town and countryside have to offer. The rooms were impeccably clean and well appointed. The breakfasts were comprised of an impressive array of both traditional European breakfast items (ham, cheese, bread), fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, jams and homemade sweets of the highest quality. Our host Elena, was warm and accommodating and made us feel like we were visiting family. A truly wonderful gem that we recommend without any hesitation. In fact we wish we could have stayed even longer!

This was a wonderful place to stay for a few days as we celebrated a family wedding. The rooms are generously sized, clean, modern, and well-appointed. Our room had a magnificent view of rolling hills, vineyards, and cultivated fields out to the horizon. The host is a woman of great charm and energy who goes out of her way to make life comfortable and pleasant for her guests. Breakfasts are substantial. They include an assortment of baked goods that are made on the premises -- the host is an accomplished baker -- as well as assorted meats, cheeses, and breads. The host will scramble an egg or two for you on request. You should know that there is no elevator, so it is necessary to climb a flight of stairs to get to your room. This is an outstanding place to stay in the charming town of Massa Marittima.
