Super 8 by Wyndham Hannibal

Thus hotel helped me out when another hotel dropped the ball on me. They were able to get me checked in right away and get my room taken care of. They were very easy to work with. The room was clean and comfortable. The accommodations aren't ultra-chique, but it's affordable and a clean place to sleep. The water pressure was good and the water got hot, so all the essentials are covered. If you need an affordable and clean place to stay that checks the essential boxes, this place is good. The parking is a little problematic, by they do what they can with the way the building is situated. Always found a spot, just sometimes a little tricky to get into.

We found the rooms to be clean, the location far enough from the road to be quiet, and the pool very nice and maintained. We were surprised to find no coffee pot in the room and the included breakfast was beyond sparse and basically not worth the effort. (No toaster/bread products, yogurt, oatmeal packets, fresh fruit)

The pool was closed. Very disappointing. Free breakfast was just a packaged muffin. Room was ok but very clean. Front desk is very nice. Not sure I would go back unless it’s work related and I just had to. Hannibal is lovely, just stay somewhere else.

Not recommended Check in was friendly. The room had mold in the bathroom, air conditioning had dirt, debris in it and possibly mold it looked like. The one bed had bed bugs. The bathroom had mold and the vent was full dust and dirt. Sounded like there was a herd of elephants running around and jumping all night on the top floor.

Only one issue: When we arrived and got to our room, the air conditioner control was stuck on 74 degrees. Reported to front desk clerk. He quickly moved us to another room which has a working control on the a/c. Room was very clean.

The overhead light didn't work. We arrived at 8 pm so the room was dark. We felt our way into the room and found a lamp.There was no landscaping. The desk clerk was unfamiliar with the area and couldn't give us directions to the location when we called.He was difficult to understand because of his accent as well.The breakfast menu was minimal. Waffles, cold cereal, one flavor muffins, and the fruit was canned and not cooled. The paper plates were the thinnest and cheapest and very unstable. The establishment was clean and the location was good. We only needed directions because we failed to get them before we left home and didn't have the capability on our phones to get them. The clerk on duty in the morning was polite and helpful. So it was not a bad experience, just a bit disappointing.
