Room was very nice, but would not do an overnight stay again. Too pricey for what is offered. A lot of hidden fees that were not detailed during booking. Fees that were added once we arrived from out of state. Card was overcharged per what was stated. Should definitely be marketed towards 10 and younger. Please beware of the hidden fees!!!!

Buyer BEWARE of Great Wolf Lodge-Naples: * Loads of hidden fees. * Don't even think of reaching a person by phone. IMPOSSIBLE. * Worst customer service -- ever! * Have a child with celiac disease. Could not arrange any safety precaustion for her in advance despite instructions on its website. Could not reach a single soul to speak too about her diet needs. * Outrageous park fee on top of facility fee. Really??? * Just don't got here. You'll be sorry if you do. Notice how the Lodge makes no effort to respond to the many negative rvies online. No effort whatsoever. It's because they don't care once they have yur money. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID ! ! !

Great Bear lodge review I am reluctantly writing this review. I have other ways to spend my time but I feel compelled to share this one. It is not a positive review. First, I must mention the good aspects of the property. Of course the indoor waterpark is exactly as advertised. Kids have fun and it appears to be very well maintained and clean. The room was larger than most resort hotel rooms and the water was hot. The first issue is that the housekeeping operation is either very substandard or is managed extremely poorly. We checked in on Monday night and left the hotel for a full day excursion after breakfast on Tuesday. We returned after 7 PM to find that towels had been replaced and trash emptied but there was no cleaning and the beds were not made up. Wednesday morning I asked at the front desk and was told that "stay-over" guests only get towel and trash service unless they ask. I asked and was told it would be done each day of our stay going forward. A short while later we left for a day at the zoo but noted that the housekeeping carts were in the corridor. We returned after 7PM tired from an active day to find that nothing at all had been done to our room. I went to the front desk and asked to see a manager. The desk staff was condescending but eventually a manager came up to talk to me. She apologized, assured me that housekeeping staff would come to our room in 15-20 minutes and that our room would get full service for the remainder of our stay. I went back to the room but after 30 minutes I went back to the front desk and asked for the manager by name. She again came up from wherever and apologized and called housekeeping on her walkee talkee while I was there. She got assurances that someone was now on the way. Indeed a person did arrive and with apologies made up the room. Next day was fine. We went shopping after breakfast and returned to our room shortly after 3PM to find that it had not been touched. Not even towels. I went to the front desk, and was told that corrective action would occur momentarily. After 15 minutes we called the front and a crew came with towels. Something is definitely not working correctly. The food is fair at best. On a 10 point scale we rate the breakfast buffet as 5 which is slightly better than the "free breakfast" at roadside hotels. For reference we rate Disney Cruise as an 8. They only offer self parking. Our 6 year old loved the arcade, the dance party and the water park but if we return it will not be to stay in the hotel.

We were hesitant to go based on some of the recent negative reviews, but we had friends who had been who had good experiences. So we went. We had a good experience! We didn't encounter the reported issues. The facility and cleanliness were good (but not perfect), and staff was very friendly and helpful. The variety of water features was very good; kids never got bored. We spent one night there, arriving before lunch the first day and leaving around 5 pm the 2nd day. We checked in and got our wrist bands (which conveniently give access to water park, hotel room, even parking gate and spending money). Next we found tables in the main lodge where we could eat the food we brought for lunch, then enjoyed the water park until kids got tired around 4 pm. Received a text prior to that announcing our room was ready (room availability advertised as 4 pm). Visited the arcade in the evening; games were pricey and while you "earn" lots of tickets in many of the games which excites the kids, the prizes you can get for them are not a good value. Next day we ate breakfast and lunch (food we brought in cooler and kept in room fridge) in our room. What little food we bought on site was good although a bit pricy. We checked out of the room, put luggage in the car and spent the afternoon in the water park. About 4, we hit the showers in the locker room which were fine, and headed out. Having planned to bring food for several meals to save money, and having prepared for a change of clothes in the locker room for the end of the 2nd day, we had an enjoyable two days at Great Wolf Lodge. And we all slept well at the end of each day!

We have been going every year to the GWL in Mason, Ohio and this year the magic was gone. Carpet in the lobby and our room was disgusting. There were gold fish and nerf darts behind the tv from previous guests. Mattresses were uncomfortable. Hair balls beside the pools. Dirty band aides on the floor. Chewing gum on the floor. Stage was moved to a different location in the lobby so then at every event we were blocking the stairs and there is no space for the kids to dance and play. Story time at night is the exact same story every night and the story teller told the kids if they didn’t have “calm hands” she wouldn’t call on them to volunteer. The free events are exactly the same every day. Arts and crafts is just a coloring sheet. Dunkin’ Donuts was serving old cold coffee in the marketplace and did not offer to make more. He said “you can just have it for free”. Sad to say this will probably be our last trip. The fees keep piling on but the quality is going down. You should not be charged parking if you are renting a room.

I was excited to visit our first Great Wolf Lodge with our little family. The brand is on point and celebrating kids - loved the dance party, the Build a Bear option, and the water park wa s agreat size - not too big or too small. We even dined in hte steak house and it was surprisingly delicious! The cons are the serice (very slow and sparse, the LOVE the word "NO", the agressive housekeeping team, and the quality of the rooms. We paid for late checkout, and the housekeeping team was banging on our door from 9am to 2pm every hour - it was SO annoying! For the cost, I woudn't return. Pros: Waterpark, kids activities, and food quality Cons: Service, horrible bathrooms and room quality. The bathrooms haven't been updated since 1970 - gross!

The staff is always nice every time I come, but I hated the location of my room. I was stuck back in a corner where delivery trucks and workers came all hours of the day and night and the parking was atrocious. I have a hard time getting in and out of my car and every time I tried to go in or out I had to get out of the car to make the bracelet work on the parking kiosk... That was a nightmare, but other than that, everything was good ... all in all I still can't get over the location in my room. I was very disappointed.

Do not recommend
Horrible customer service. We had a room that sleeps 6. Originally booked for 3 not knowing which kids could go. Get there and had more than 3 and they wanted to charge $60 per person for the water park. Room literally says up to 6. That is ridiculous. And the front desk people were extremely rude. The whole place is run down. Used to go multiple times a year. It was great. Now the rooms just feel dirty and run down. The gift store looks like a thrift shop. The whole visit was just cringe.
