Cape Cod Holiday Estates, a VRI resort

We stayed at Cape Cod Holidays Estate for a week for visiting family and sightseeing. Our cabin was roomy and comfortable enough for both purposes. The resort is centrally located on the Cape and we were able to satisfy the interests of the varied ages and interests of our group.

Only 1 hair dryer in unit, even though it sleeps 6 adults. The unit we had (#47) had no marked parking .. we had to go over tree roots and watch closely when backing up. You have to leave a $250.00 credit card hold at check-in.

Our stay at Cape Code Holiday Estates was excellent. The room we stayed in was clean, well maintained, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The employees are friendly and helpful. The property is clean and well maintained and the wild turkeys the go through the resort are a nice touch. The property is a few minutes drive of a beach and stores are within about a 10 minute drive. Highly recommend.

We used RCI timeshare exchange for this vacation. The units were spacious and private, with a lot of land space around the condo, including barbecues and benches. Unfortunately, there was some construction going on behind the area, which caused some noise pollution. Additionally, my complaint is that the resort does not provide beach passes. The timeshare is located near a neighborhood that claims their beach as part of their HOA. When we inquired at the front desk, they informed us that we had to go to city hall to obtain a beach pass for the week. It's worth noting that we arrived on a Saturday, so we couldn't go to the beach until Monday without paying a daily fee of $40. Another major inconvenience in the unit was the fire alarm that would get triggered every time someone used the shower. The first time it happened, we thought something was wrong and, since it was after hours, we had to call the fire department.

5 minutes from shopping, restaurants and entertainment going one way and 5 minutes to the beach going the other way. Off season very quiet. Also mid way between Falmouth and Hyannis so good accessibility to both. Wild turkeys passed through every morning and evening.

We stayed there for a week. It was a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful and the house was very nice. Also, it was really nice that these are single, stand-alone houses. That made them private, quiet, but still close to everything.
