Booking in was easy, Angela the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. On entering the room it became obvious that the aircon had been turned off in a permanent way, the heat within the room was horrendous, there was a table top fan operating which we left on all night. We booked an accessible room as I am a wheelchair user, it was clean and smelled nice. The bathroom was excellent with it being a wet room there was plenty of space and an excellent seat in the shower. We asked for a raised bed, however premier inn don’t do them anymore. The aircon needs to switched on, I understand the cost implications with this but in the summer it definitely needs to be on. Overall it was ok. Our room was No 28.

Having booked this hotel for 11 motorcyclists we were horrified to find out this is a hot spot for thieves stealing bikes and motorbikes . We were told to park our bikes in disabled parking close to the office windows . This in itself caused upset to disabled car guests who thought we were doing wrong . Signage should of been provided to prevent confrontation . Then we heard that £14K worth of electric mountain bikes had been stolen on Saturday morning from the car park whilst two night staff were monitoring the security cameras. Totally unacceptable that nobody stopped the robbery . With this lack of security 4 of my party went home on a wet Saturday fearing that their bikes could be stolen . The remaining 7 of us did a night watch over our bikes to prevent any theft . Obviously this ruined our nights sleep . This hotel in my opinion does not do enough to prevent the many robberies that have happened here and begs the question WHY ?

Group of 11 motorcycle enthusiasts. Stayed here 3 nights . If you have a motorcycle please do not stay here . Likewise a pushbike or e bike unless you take it in the room with you . 2 e-bikes stolen from customers during our stay . We had to stay up during the Saturday night. Paired up to protect our motorbikes. Will never be back . This is a warning to all cyclists and motorcyclists.

On arrival the car park was full of vans, making it difficult to park. Appreciate that Premier Inns are a Mecca for the travelling contractors, but made it difficult to park. Talking of parking, expect a fine from Horizon - even after registration- they like to have a try. The room was ok, relatively dated in comparison to others I have stayed at, and very stuffy. The outside noise of seagulls woke my early, despite being miles from sea. There must be a rubbish dump nearby. The restaurant food isn’t worth bothering about, and service is slow. Use McDonalds in walking distance

I stay in a lot of premier inn around the UK regularly and this has to have been the worst. In Room 202 next to team members only room it sounded like they were banging all night or washing machines constantly going off so the noise was ridiculous. The room itself was shabby, the bathroom smelled like male toilets and there was stains on the sheets for the bed. We arrived at 9.30pm to check in and didn't use dinner or breakfast we rang the bell to check in and told to check in on self check in which initially the one we did see said out of order. The staff member just went back into a room to leave us to it rather than assist in anyway. Other than that no staff we present. I had a operation booked the next morning at the hospital across the road from this premier inn and was in a lot of pain so I didn't go down at midnight to try and speak to the staff about another room as I didn't have the energy to sort changing rooms if that is something that would have been offered but I feel if I had went looking for staff they wouldn't be helpful anyway. Have lost faith in premier inn experiences. It was not worth the money at all.

Hotel receptionist was absolutely lovely and so helpful. The hotel room was ridiculously hot, there were two fans in the room, neither were working properly. Thankfully brought a fan from home bust still didn’t make much of a difference. Windows barely opened enough to let a breeze through. The air con wasn’t connected to anything and seemed to be more decoration. Didn’t even get 5 hours sleep. Lots of stains and scratches everywhere

Impressed by modern check-in system and the room itself was excellent. Tracy on Reception improved our experience due to her friendliness and willingness to interact with us beyond the specifications of her role, e.g we discussed the charity book section by the entrance, and her input helped me to choose a book.

In a very handy place for what we wanted to do. Breakfast in the beefeater attached was awesome! Staff all very friendly and accommodating, but big massive shout out to Tracey on reception for the warmest of welcomes! Tracey went above and beyond with her hospitality, all our needs were taken care of. Thank you Tracey! You rock!!!
