This place is a must stay! Very cozy home away from home nestled in the perfect woodsy location. Check-in/out process was easy. Everything was clean and well stocked. Even the kitchen has all the essentials, along with a washer and dryer. The hosts really care about their guests down to the little treat and a note they left to welcome us. By far one of the best places our family has stayed.

The atmosphere as soon as you walk in is excellent. It is a small area on each floor, but everything is very well laid out and we didn't feel cramped at all. Everything we needed was there...coffee maker, microwave, fridge, stove, washer\dryer and all utensils we required. The location of the house is right across the street from the Fox Hollow trail which was great. It is a popular trail and well worth the trek. Also, it has some decent smallmouth bass fishing and there is a great pool for it roughly 5 minutes down the trail. I caught about a 2 pounder on our last day there and it put up a great fight...it was released unharmed. There is also a charcoal grill which we used just about every day as I enjoy grilling. If you want to eat out there are MANY places in the area to go so you definitely will not go hungry. For shopping we mainly used Weis on Willow Street...nicely stocked, but there are many places to shop in the area. Not far away either...15 minutes. Highly recommend Appel Butchers...we got great NY ***** steaks and T-bones from there and the Coffee Bacon is AWESOME!!!!!! Also, the smoked kielbasa! So many historical places to visit in the immediate area and Gettysburg is only about an hour and 15 minutes away...worth it. Our favorite in the area was President Buchanan's Wheatland. The tour was great, and the history was as well.Tom and Amanda...Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home. We had a great and relaxed stay. We will be back!

Trolley station
We had a very relaxing stay in a historic building surrounded by nature and trails. If you are looking for a place to relax and explore, this is the place. Owners responded to every question quickly. Their home is full of warmth and they made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable. We plan to return again in the future. So much to explore, a weekend was not enough time.

Great Historic House
My husband and I stayed here for a short getaway. Everything was great, from the location to the amenities in the house. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the area. Be sure to get some fresh ice cream from the Pine View Diary, then walk it off on one of the many hiking trails!

Trolley House
The house was very cozy and well maintained. It was close to many walking trails and creeks. Check in and check out were very easy. Hosts were easy to get a hold of. Shower pressure was great- a lot better than some other places we have stayed. The only draw back is if you are looking for complete quiet. During the day there was a lot of traffic up and down the road.
I would highly recommend staying here. Our whole experience was fantastic!

Wonderful get away
It was exactly what we were looking for. It was a quiet, relaxing and thoughtful stay. Beautiful property, the attention to details that made us feel welcome and it was just rustic enough to give the place a unique personality.
Loved the area, the trails that ran by the stream right near the house were easy to find and fun to walk along. At night you can hear the stream from the porch swing. I spent a night sitting out there and looking at all the stars because it gets dark enough out there to actually see them.
We also had a night where we used the fire pit and used sticks to make hotdogs which was a nice touch. Plenty of cut wood was provided and we didn’t have any issue getting the fire going even though we hadn’t much experience.
Overall it was just really nice. Would def stay again.

Halloween Weekend Stay
We wanted to go to Lancaster and do a little hiking. This beautiful property is about 25 minutes from the city and a very easy drive. There are trails literally right outside too. Overall a quiet but still accessible place to stay. We did go to the weekend market and Field of Screams which you should check out if staying here!
