booked room was inhabitable- no tissue, carpet, duvet and sheets dirty, there were some insects inside room and bed bugs- room smelt so much had to leave as would have vomited- ended up sleeping in the car, as hotels around were fully booked- I had to book another room

Black mold in the shower/bath, carpet was filthy, inside of door surround dirty, the hedge at the roadside of the drive was blocking the view to the right making it unsafe, very little heating.

This should not describe itself as a B&B as it doesn't provide breakfast, towels or even a toilet roll. There were stains on the carpet, pillowcase and pillow. The microwave was rusty, the grouting black and the mugs chipped. If it had not been late and we had already paid we would have left and found somewhere else to stay. Saw no one from the "B&B" at all, telephoned on arrival and key in door, dropped key off in the morning

Dirty, horrible and bedbugs Stained carpets, broken bathroom fittings, damp patches, cobwebs in corner of room, only four squares of toilet paper for one week. But this wasn’t anything compared to waking up with bedbugs! I know it’s budget, but come off it… I would have rather slept under a tree. I left after the first night.

not bad, I will stay there again The picture opposite certainly doesn't reflect the bedroom I stayed in. The lodge is more tuned to a stay of convenience rather than a business trip, but the bed was comfortable which was the main thing. The hot tap didn't work properly on the basin, and the bath and basin mastic was covered in mould. The carpet looked like a party had been spillled all over it, through the early hours the neighbours had total inconsideration's for other guests, shouting and banging doors, I didn`t know where to go for the breakfast bit so I just left the morning after. Having said all this, it is convenient for a short stay, the price only reflects the minimum standard, all this is made up for by the location views and animal life round the complex, and the flea market at weekend. Some of us survive on tea and coffee, can I suggest more milk is left in the fridge.

The property had a basic level of cleanliness, but was very tired. One out of two bedside lamps were working and the ceiling light was dirty and broken. The bedding was clean and the bed comfortable but the mattress protector and mattress were dirty. Bathroom very small and needed a good clean. The room had a microwave, kettle and crockery. There was a step up to the room and the paving outside was cracked in two. Overall it was a bed for the night. You get what you pay for.

It was grubby. No breakfast. If we wanted to provide some toast of our own there were no knives to cut it. The whole thing is. A shabby set up.
