The hotel is quiet and comfortable with plenty of small conference facilities. The local is very pleasant with a lake that you can swim in before having a sauna. The menu is fixed but pretty good. The staff were absolutely excellent, nothing was too much trouble.

We used Steningevik as the location for our Leadership Conference. We enjoyed every moment of it; it was extremely professional, very flexible, and friendly, and overall, we felt very welcome. The location is absolutely wonderful. Our American directors described it like this: "This is exactly how we imagined a Scandinavian fairytale to look like". Thank you - we will be back.

Bottom line: Excellent! I'll be back. Colleagues and I had a two-day writing workshop at Steningevik Konferens. We were made very welcome on our arrival, and shown to our meeting room (meeting cottage, more like) complete with Swedish fika. The grounds are spectacular, and the staff encouraged us to explore and enjoy our fika outdoors. The food at Steningevik deserves a separate review, since it is absolutely first class. Every meal was a joy to eat, and the staff seemed proud to be serving such culinary delights. The staff in general were very friendly and welcoming. This place is magnetic - once you arrive, you will be reluctant to leave.
