Absolute horrible stay. First, walk in and find someone else’s ice cream in my fridge. Fridge, obviously hadn’t been cleaned from the last guest. Food and crumbs on the carpet all around the bed, Microwave sounded like a plane taking off. Oh, and breakfast, or the lack of. No coffee, no bacon… etc etc .. I’ve stayed at many HIE, and this definitely rates very low.

General Manager Dawson, MaKenna customer service skills would be described as lacking, subpar, distasteful, and disrespectful. Payment processing issues are easily handled by simply using the original credit card provided. Communication is key when dealing with the public. Someone please notify Ms. Dawson of this fact. Re re training perhaps would help. Horrible representation of the Holiday Inn Express as a whole.

Lobby & breakfast area are nice, room not so much. Bathroom is literally crumbling with terrible patches around tub & walls. Room is in need of updating. Funky smell too. Pass on this one folks, unless you’re not picky like me!

I spent one night at the Holiday Inn in Marshall. The room was comfortable, especially the bed. My only complaint about cleanliness was the mold in the bathtub. Overall the hotel was welcoming and the complementary breakfast was quite nice. It’s a little spendy for a hotel a small town, but I was happy for the stop during my travels.

I wouldn't stay again. We asked for a bottom floor and got upstairs. Couldn't move us during our 3 night stay and I was with my sister in law who needs a walker. An impossible situation and we were told when booking there would be no refunds.
