Nick's Cove

This was the perfect weekend getaway for us. So peaceful, beautiful, lovely accommodations and wonderful food. Breakfast delivered to our door! We will be back.

Nicks Cove and Cottages…it’s like a little community all its own. What an awesome getaway for a couple days staying at a cottage and exploring areas north. Wonderful accommodations and just a delightful experience for our short stay. Food at Nicks was very good…way better than I had recalled from a couple years ago. We will definitely return—we really loved it and we only live 30 min away! It was a little getaway that we will definitely repeat. Thanks to the great staff.

We stayed in Hearts Desire for 2 days. This second story oceanview cottage has a comfy couch, a firm King bed with oh so soft linens and a large bathroom with two sinks. Great private deck with minimal noise from the guests below and next to us. It was extremely windy and cold our first night. Grateful the fireplace worked really well. Using the daily text from the cottage staff, we ordered the complimentary breakfast. Both mornings were croissants + muffins with a small bowl of fresh fruit. Petite portions but generous servings of coffee and OJ. Enjoyed the free N/A drinks in the fridge + appreciated the comped slippers. If there were luggage racks, a small bathroom table for toiletry kits and 2-ply TP, we would have rated this a 5 star stay!

The room "hearts desire" was rustic charming stylish decor which was great for the location . There were some nice flourishes But on the first night we heard low music all night and thought we had a noisy neighbor. Hard to sleep . We woke up and realized the TV had been left on very low by the maid . That was annoying . Our bathroom had electrical outlets for one sink only . There should have been for both sinks . The lights over one sink had burnt out bulbs or was broken. Not appropriate for a room we anticipated to be a luxury stay. Second day we woke up way too early to some motor noise and internet down . The complimentary breakfast was mediocre . And twice i asked for milk but got something like half and half . Terrible ? No . But i expected better from all the positive reviews from seemingly good sources. The reviews did not match this hotel experience so get your act back together because the property deserves to be stellar

Cozy, quiet retreat. Beautiful cottage over the water. Enjoyed watching the sunset in the evening, then coffee on the deck in the morning, watching the cove "wake up". Pet friendly so we could enjoy with our Golden doodle. Room service and morning breakfast were delicious. The cottage was decorated tastefully and charmingly. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Helped us even after we left and sent us the shoes we left behind. Highly recommended.

Has been on my California bucket list to stay here since moving to CA in 2018! Close to lots of cheese and wine tasting, plus seafood and oysters to your hearts content 🦪 😋 the innkeeper cottage was spacious, and the full fridge and microwave were wonderful since we had a toddler in tow! Will happily come back again, hoping to make this a yearly family tradition
