Bartender Giovanni Lo Cascio is professional and diligent, he was at our service every second. The outdoor swimming pool in particular adorns the oasis of the old Palace Hotel. The water is warm and clean. At the pool there is a beautiful garden for aperitif services and a restaurant (food and meals). Be sure to try Gambere and a sandwich with tuna, salad and a special tomato. A white wine that smells like fresh lemon perfume, it's great. The service inside the hotel goes to the signature for the room. So everything is made easy for you. You don't have to carry personal documents and money, or bank cards and wonder if you'll ever lose them. Room are amazing and luxury. We will come back to this wonderful hotel again. Marsala is a historical place that you will enjoy to the maximum. You can visit the Marakaibo beach with an agreement at the hotel reception, which will organize a transfer for you within 15 minutes from and to the hotel with a 30% discount on sunbeds and umbrellas. We have just returned from the Seawater Hotel. It is a lovely hotel kept spotlessly clean and with really friendly staff. The rooms are a good size with air con and very large comfy beds. Breakfast is great a mix of fresh fruit, cheese, hams and bread and an array of pastries and local treats. In the evening there is a good restaurant that when the weather is good food is served by the stunning pool. There are a few options for each course. If you have the trio of cheese starter which is lovely you can share between 2 as its a big portion. Location wise its in a quiet area on the main road into town. We didnt have a car and I would recommend you have one but you can walk into town in about 30 mins. Be warned some of the pavements are quite slim or none existent but it wasn't too much trouble. You can book the hotels shuttle into town for €5 per person each way and they will also help organise trips for you. We didnt use the spa but the 3 pools are great and a real asset to the hotel. Our only slight problem was they don't do lunch at the hotel so we went to the local supermarket a 5 minute walk and got some things for the room. There is also a local cafe probably 10 mins in the other direction, Cafe Caramel which was great but a bit of a limited choice. The staff are so lovely and helpful it was a great holiday and would definately recommend it.

Large hotel with huge car park and seems out of place in its location surrounded by mainly electrical shops Modern rooms that are well maintained but need more plug sockets for modern travelling (believe hotel is 30+ years old) Recently refurbished bathroom but small cubicle on the shower itself Lovely new linen and towels but curtains definitely need replacing and didn’t pull properly, didn’t meet in middle and several hooks missing Wi-Fi very good Staff were really polite and helpful Lots of students staying when we were and they definitely need more lifts and more modern lifts Corridors have the automatic lights which are very slow to react Breakfast was good with the best fresh orange juice we had in all of Sicily. Better than usual coffee from their machines, good choice of bread, cakes and pastries (too good as too many and ate lots), fresh fruit and yoghurt

Our family in Marsala recommended the Best Western Hotel Stella d'Italia to us on our visit. At the last minute, we called and they were more than happy to accommodate us. We were totally surprised how beautiful this hotel is, its marble staircases, beautiful art work & fast elevators. We had the king room. It was a very clean, comfortable, large room with a partial view of the square. The bed & pillows were great! The bathroom is modern and large. The breakfast buffet is one of the best we ever had, they even had fresh cannoli's every morning, fresh hot foods, cold cuts and everything you can imagine. The breakfast room is bright and airy & the staff was very polite. The reception staff was helpful, offering assistances for us around Marsala. The hotel is right next to the square, which made it very quiet, and yet close to all the beauty of the Marsala square; restaurants, shoppes and the most beautiful cathedral. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again.

We stayed 3 nights, beautiful location in the center, mostly by paying a daily surcharge you can have a private garage right underneath. Beautiful, well-equipped environment, spotlessly clean, as are the spacious soundproofed rooms with everything you need for the bathroom. Breakfast served on the third floor on a covered terrace. What can I say, everything was RIGHT. Very kind and helpful lady. Really nice.

We found this to be an exceptionally pleasant hotel, in all respects. It is situated in a quiet corner with n a piazza in the historic center of Marsala, a beautiful, old building elevated with great taste to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are cozy; the bathrooms are clean; the beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast room and bar are elegant and the food at the breakfast buffet was fresh, varied and ample. Thank you Hotel Carmine!

This hotel is well positioned and the old city is easily accessible on foot. However parking despite reassurances to the contrary was a nightmare. The rooms are clean and well furnished but a little lacking in character. The lift is interesting it is immensely slow and takes only one person at a time. Added to this sometimes the door doesn’t open when you get to your floor. The restaurant seems a bit ornate and pretentious. Dinner was reasonable but was really international cuisine rather than Sicilian. Breakfast looked amazing but none of the pastries were as fresh as they might be. We have had better value in Sicily elsewhere.
